I make knives the slow way: i use a file to grind the edges. The material removed is annealed stainless steel, and this file does the job about twice as fast as a regular bastard file, cuts cleanly and does not get clogged up with metal fragments that would later score my blades' edges. Very happy with it.

If you areinto axe and hatchet stuff, like I am, you can’t afford not to have this file. Makes short work of removing unneeded metal. I haven’t found a subtitle
