Very sturdy and easy to use. Just place on top of regular toliet seat and your done. Much bette than a stand a lone seat, which is messy and takes a bit to clean up. Would recommend.

The cushion on this is great for starters as your little one will spend lots of time on the potty. However between the cushion and plastic there is no seal, so when my little girl would pee on the edge it would seep between the two pieces and when you lift the seat to hang it on the side of the toilet it would leak urine all over the floor. Because urine would get in the cracks mold started to grow no matter how much I would try to wipe it every night.
