I thought this would be a wonderful present for my 5 year old niece and I was right. Her mom and dad told me she enjoys going to sleep to the stars and planets flashing across her bedroom ceiling. I wish I could be there to see her fascination and enjoyment but we live over 3 hours away. This would make a perfect gift for a youngster interested in the universe.

I bought this item and it stopped working and I thought maybe it was something else so I bought it again and it’s broken a second time. I cannot believe that I have spent money on this product twice. Do not buy this. It will break on you and my kids have a hard time sleeping tonight because of it breaking. Wish I could give it zero stars

The price was decent but the battery life was horrible. It does do what it says it will but I was hoping the battery life was better. The lights are nice a bright and the images are clear. I'd say if you plan to keep it plugged in it would be fine. Other wise I'd go with a different one.

My son absolutely loves this! Love that it has different modes with colors to choose from. A plus for us parents, it comes with a remote that you can set a time for it to turn off so it doesn't run all night long and waste electricity! I loved that!

I bought this for my aunt and she loves it. You can change the different designs but they are very delicate. Clearly made of plastic but kids should not handle that since it can easily tare. But I still recommend as I noticed you have to leave the night light plugged in 24/7 while in use or not! Reading the comments I never noticed how many people actually unplug the night lights. My kids have always been left plugged in.

I like the "projected" light and the fact that it can be dimmed with the remote, but I do wish there was a way to shut off just the bottom light. The bottom light has 2 light modes - white and blue. The blue is obviously not as bright as the white, but can still provide too much light depending on your room size, location, or just the preference of the user (so for my 4yo, it's too much).Other color light options would have been nice (like purple). My kid loves dinos but also loves purple. Just an idea for future versions to make something that isn't so male gender specific (girls like dinosaurs too you know).The remote is awesome! You can't change the settings much without it. It's mostly self-explanatory too, so that's helpful. There is one issue I had and maybe it was just us, but when I use the remote to turn on the light, if I hit the button that switches the lower blue light to the white light, it will not switch back to blue. When this happened, it also would not respond to the remote at all. I thought it was a fluke, but it happened each time I tested it.The timer option is wonderful and the light holds a charge for a long time.Overall we are happy with the purchase.

This projector is perfect for kids! It comes with two covers, one that projects, star shapes, and another that projects dinosaur shapes. You can project the shapes in red green, blue and white or a combination of the three colors. You can also select an option that rotates through the colors. You can also make the light in the projector rotate, moving the stars around the room.We have a little fabric castle in our basement. When we combine that with the star projector, it feels like we are camping outside.It is also very fun as a night light, because it looks like a dinosaur egg. The light has 3 brightnesses, low, medium, and high.It is also rechargeable, which makes it a great option on the go.Bottom line, my kids Loved this!!
