It's very flimsy. There's too much play, even with a budget plastic NVG attached to it. I will look for an all metal version instead.

The mount is made of nylon and should hold up well for Airsoft or other gaming activities. Fitment is good with no wobble and is holding up well. I do have concerns that it will 'wear' itself loose but, thus far, it's holding true.

I got this mount as an improvement from the cheap plastic shroud that comes on cheap bump helmets. Here are my thoughts:Pros:- dovetail mount to fit Wilcox dovetail mounts- adjustable in several different directionsCons:- plastic- tons of movement and play in the material- no breakaway functionThis mount is not what I was looking for. It may an improvement from the cheap shrouds, but it’s not much better. I’d personally stay away and invest in a metal Wilcox clone.
