I received the product and it is the same as the one in the photo. It is very stylish. I bought a battery and installed it myself. It can sense automatically. It is worth recommending. The price is affordable.

I gave had this garbage bin for 2 months and the cover no longer opens even with new batteries. It sounds like it’s trying to open but cannot.

This is my second Ninestart trash can. They are relatively inexpensive compared to other brands, but delivery the same quality and durability. The stainless steel construction is easy to clean and looks great. Uses X size trash bags for easy installation and removal without having to handle the garbage. The old Ninestars is still in use, only now it’s for recycling.

First of all, every time someone walks by the trash can the lid opens. It worked fine for about 4 weeks. Now whenever it opens it only opens part way and and makes a noise when it closes. I am thinking it’s just not such a good idea to have an automatic (touchless) trash can. It was too expensive to have so many problems. I love the large size but it has to have larger bags which I have to order and are a little more expensive than regular size. To be fair I am going to call customer support to see if there is anything I can do to fix these problems. I did try troubleshooting but there is nothing said about the problems I am having. At this point I would not recommend this product. I will follow up after speaking to customer service. I was contacted right away after texting to customer service. They have a 2 year warranty on these trash cans and have offered to send a new lid. If the lid gets here soon I will be so pleased with this company for having good business practices. I will continue after I receive the new lid.
