I order this dual tee connector and a single tee connector to extend my N2K backbone so a N2K barometer and a Digital Yacht Navlink 2 could be added to my full Garmin backbone. Both this Dual Tee and other T connector from GaiRen mated perfectly to my Garmin. One caveat- I previously ordered a generic N2K T-connector and the locating or orientation key was 45 degrees from the location of the Garmin keys. This then rotates the T connector 45 degrees from the vertical panel on which the original ones were installed. NO GOOD. These GaiRen connectors have the orientation key in the correct location for proper mating to the OEM Garmin backbone.

Modern marine electronics have come a long way and to amazing things. I remember having to "know" where all the rocks were. Now we have GPS, VHF, Sonar, Radar at our disposal, it is a safer world. The next step for me was linking these modern devices together. My crew can now send a distress signal with the push of a button and other boats can pinpoint them on their GPS (if they are networked as well). This NMEA network extender is perfect for coupling in other devices that can all now "talk" with each other.

This GaiRen NMEA 2000 T-connector is a Perfect addition to your boats NMEA 2000 Backbone. There really isn't much you can say about this except that it works well with no issues. The best part is the price when compared to other name brand NMEA components. I highly recommend this for the price, quality and functionality.

Seems to be a clone of the Ancor marine double tee. It works fine and will sit on the same plane as every other branded tee EXCEPT the black Garmins. Grey Garmins and everything else will mate up fine. The connectors are good quality and have weatherproof seals. If you need it you need it!

Tested this just briefly with a Garmin and it worked on both ports. I'm only removing one star because the threads feel just a little insecure, but I'm probably overthinking what it should be.This will get the job done, it's not the most sturdy one I've seen, but it's also not the worst. I can't speak to its internals, but it is pinned correctly.
