Technically it works but the opening for water to pass through is incredible tiny so it's a major restriction in the water line. If you rely on any sort of decent flow this is not for you. If it's just filling up a washing machine or something it'll be great.

I live in the United States and the standard USA hose almost fits but the threads per inch is different. You have to add extra rubber washers to make it seal. The threads get tight before the washers touch. If you live in the USA, this is not the standard 11.5 TPI. This if probably correct for the rest of the world.

This is a G3/4 BSPP thread. It might kinda fit an NPT thread but it's not quite the same
