Used this to jerry rig another mount to my chair for a collective project im working on and this worked great for my needs! plenty of mounting options and durable build quality what more could you want for something like this?

Just as other reviewers have said the thickness of this item is around 2.9mm. Nowhere near the 4mm advertised. Only keeping it due to needing the layout for additional mounting.

While it isn't 4mm thick, it is strong and solid. I thought I'd be able to figure out a way to mount both my shifter and ebrake to my collapsable racing seat. This plate is much easier than fabricating my own. It's a reasonable cost and it has enough holes to make it truly universal. I recommend this product.

This mounted my shifter securely and easily. It took some thinking to get 4 bolts in the right places to mount everything.

This plate is thin and if you install it like they show in their video, it will flex when you pull the handbrake. I own a GT Omega Apex rig and the metal is thicker and sturdier. The difference is immediately noticeable - the Apex mounts do not flex and can take a handbrake or shifter being pulled, this plate bends and flexes. It gets the job done I suppose but to quote Will Smith, 'I feel like I'm gonna break this thing.' If it were twice as thick it would be on par with other cockpits, but the metal feels like cheap pot metal. It should not bend when you pull the brake.

I ordered this just to mount my new Drift Brake up but ended up having enough holes and space on this bracket to mount not only my Drift brake but my Logitech Shifter to it as well and then still mount it onto my Next Level Racing Formula GT Lite Chair so it looks like it was made for this chair essentially. Looks great, would recommend to anyone who wants the drift brake and shifter right next to each other, the only reason I did 4 stars is because the hardware is cheap and stripped itself out on what bolt when trying to tighten down softly and it does not come with an extra bolt or nut just in case that happens!

The thickness is actually 2.8mm while the manual says it is 4mm. I can feel it flexed with my handbrake and shifter mounted on the plate. Maybe it is good for a button box. I will not use it for mounting handbrake or shifter. I cannot recommend it for its intended purpose. It is kind of a false advertising.
