I bought this for use in the classroom for "answer-the-question-spin-for-a-prize" games we sometimes play. It is not large, but I like the portability. The spinner does not have any kind of braking mechanism, so it tends to spin for quite awhile (students seem to enjoy spinning zealously), and the erasable paper surface of the prize indicator cleans up mostly well for re-writing. It's nice that it comes with everything needed for quick and easy set-up. I would be afraid to drop it, but for what I require, it's terrific . . . and the price was right!

My 10 yo had to create a board game for a school project. The smaller spinners at the craft shop weren't big enough to write on, so chose this one. It came intact, well protected, and she was able to change it up and assemble it as she needed. Pretty sturdy and easy to use.

Bought this to use on Christmas Eve to play a Spin It To Win It game. Just opened it to set it up only to discover one of the inside plates is cracked.

Yeah, don't buy this.Like the others said, the centers of the plastic top & bottom clear piece weren't cut right, therefore it doesn't actually sit on the spinning part as it should and the middle card tries to fly out because it's not locked in there. Also spins completely cattywampus, to the point the spinner scrapes the wheel.I tried to reach out to the manufacturer about this and heard nothing back. Amazon won't do anything about it and has left it up to the manufacturer to remedy, who apparently won't, so here's the honest truth. Hard pass, *especially* for that price.Would've been 1-star but added one because the cards themselves actually look great and wipe off easily.

Mine was also damaged, and also not likely during shipping. One of the discs is cracked in the centre and I don't think there's a way you could do that before assembly and shipping without also breaking the other. I suspect we're getting second-runs.That being said, you can just use that disc as the bottom one and no one will know. The top disc was undamaged.Since it includes so many double-sided sheets, and they're all dry-erase, there's no limit on your spinning choices. Each sheet has 8 wedges on one side and 16 on the other. Two things to keep in mind: you MUST take the middle disc into account when writing on the wedges, or whatever you've written will be obscured. The black plastic middle disc that holds everything in place will cover some of your writing once it's all put together. #2: Since it's dry-erase, it's easy (too easy) to accidentally erase what you've written while assembling the whole setup or while writing in subsequent wedges. Watch your sleeves. The spinner spins smoothly, it doesn't take too long to land on a spot. The indicator wedge indicates clearly and doesn't land on the seams (so no mystery spins).All-in-all it's a great spinner with lots of options and great for family game night. If you want to get more serious, mark out the black disc's perimeter, use a more permanent pen and copy and reprint/cut out some additional discs from other paper.
