Decent price an work really well, as long as you clean it at least every 2 week, it can last forever. doing great job, great value.

Works well. Not as fast heating as I thought but does keep water hot and heats at capacity

This kettle is a high quality build and keeps water at the right temp. But ours at around 6 months would keep the water boiling all the time and steam would pour out until it was empty. I think the internal thermometer stopped working

I had previously gotten the Chefman version which is very similar to this Nutrichef. The other just completely dies on us after only 1-month or less of daily use. After 1-mo of use, this is still doing great. We have a very nice water cooler with a hot spigot we're trying to replace with a countertop-hot water boiler - much easier to fill with our new in-home RO system than the 5-gal jugs.LOVE that this is largely stainless steel (canister containing the water). I'm sure there are components in the pump that are silicone (likely) or plastic (??? unknown). The LID-portion does have plastic, but this doesn't touch the water (but does condensate & drip ...so it's a toss up if it's the most SAFE with plastic definitely a part of the system......(??).It heats well - NOT GREAT - but well. Stays hot enough for tea, but for our pour-over coffee I have to boil the water in a kettle. It's faster since the water is already hot....but if you make even a cup of coffee with this in pour-over style (or french press/similar) you'll have to heat your coffee after it's made.I do like the footprint for the 5-quart size, fits under our cabinets - I just have to slide it out to refill. It DOES have 3 methods to dispense....button underneath (touch cup to it) - green button (press to dispense) - and the push-button (which does work if unit is not plugged in for travel/picnic type use).I still think it might be worth spending double for the nice Japanese one I saw that is glass....but I'm on the fence with this as it's capacity is much smaller & we use hot water all day, every day.

I hope I do not jinx myself, but I’ve used it pretty much every single day since I purchased almost 2 years ago now. I also bought two others as gifts. They do not use as much as I do but they still think it is very cool. Very convenient, clean and useful. If you have a kid in college or moving out I would definitely recommend this. If you constantly drink have liquids like tea, soup or ramen you can have within minutes. Plus it boils the water = clean water. All in all LOOOVE IT!!!

Bought it for the office to use in a hot chocolate bar & keep for daily use. It's been great so far! Easy to use, quick to heat.

la primera vez que le puse agua no dejo de hervirla hasta que se agotó… y había agua al rededor, el sello de la bisagra trasera no sella bien y por ahí se es curre el agua.Me da la impresión de que tampoco era nueva. No venía sellada.

Amazing product, easy to use, more than enough capacity. I often entertain and my guests are major tea drinkers. It saves so much of my time keeping the water at a perfect temperature and for a long time. I loved it so much, that I bought another one as a gift for in-laws. We all always get a lot of compliments from the guests.Buy one, you won't regret it. 👌👌👌👌

UPDATE (11/3/2024): You get what you pay for. we accidentally overfilled the unit & water got on the floor of the unit and thank god we have a GFCI outlet in our kitchen - it tripped right away and prevented a shock. I decided to open up the unit and there is a design flaw (sorry I don't have a before photo) - the leads from the outlet are at the very bottom of the unit and exposed (so what you see is I used silicone to make the terminals water tight) - so if water gets on the bottom of the unit, it shorts. I am quite certain if you get a more expensive unit, you are paying for safety by design and foresight to not allow this hazard to persist. Docking two stars.we read all the positive reviews and decided to take a gamble on this one. We're quite certain a Zorijushi would last 10 years at 2-3x the price. So we figure if this thing lasts 3-5 years we're doing ok (and totally hate feeling part of this disposable economy but this is a lecture for another time). We did have to come to terms with not having any kind of temperature control (so no green tea for us & this is ok as we're on a caffeine break)be sure to note the unit is 3.2L so it's TALL (our old Tiger was 2.2L)and I have to admit white looks better in our kitchen - this unit is black so keep this in mind as white will be a premium.we don't have kids in the house (and they wouldn't be able to reach it) so not having to push a button to "unlock" dispense is not necessary (in fact, it's much more convenient now)[UPDATE: I contacted Nutrichef and they were nice to confirm there is a plastic film you peel off - it doesn’t have a tab so you need to use your fingernail to get it off but once it is off, it looks great and no longer cheap! so disregard my previous comment:] the laminate job done on the unit is rather poor - it looks like it might peel sooner than it should (I thought maybe it was the extra plastic you peel off but it's not)the top is simple to take off (easier than our Tiger which we learned after it broke you can take it off nearly the same way lol)ok we haven't even had it 24 hrs so I'll definitely update this review after a year or two if anything becomes apparent!

I received this in December 2021 and it doesn't dispense anymore. The manual pump still works and I like the convenience of having hot water, so I'm keeping it, but I'm not pleased with it.

I love it, i enjoy just drinking hot water with some honey. the water is always hot. takes a few minutes to heat up but i can deal with it.the locking part is on the top. the top centre piece pushes down and with the lock it stops extra water from leaving the machine. There are three places to have water leave the machine. the top button circle with the lock, a quick pour button by the red reheat button, and just under the pour spout there is a small button that you can push your mug, or other items under to stop splash back.It is super easy to clean. and the lid can come off of the machine for easy cleaning.
