I bought this for a nephew and it works well. It fit his back nicely and it was easy to put onto the pads. He’s probably 110lbs and a 28in just for reference. He had room to grow but he’ll probably need one soon because of his size. It feels very durable and he says it’s comfortable. If you’re not sure you want to spend a ton of money the first year of football; this is a good way to go.

I got this for my grandson because he plays football in high school. It works great and he has no problems with it, so I would recommend getting this if you play football.

My son loved the chrome look and it protects well. He is right at 5 ft tall. Blue chrome scratching off with use.

My son was a senior LB this past year and wanted to add this back plate to his football gear. I think he mostly wanted it because it looked cool but it also proved to be beneficial as he took a pretty good shot to the back this season and came out unscathed. From that I could also tell his confidence grew this season and he was able to get recruited to play college ball. Obviously his being recruited wasn’t because of the back plate alone, but I can say this helped him stay on the field and avoid injury this year.
