This fit my son perfect! He's 4'9" and it covers his lower back just as it should! It's easy to connect to his shoulder pads and stay securely on! Not to mention the design is well printed and doesn't wear off easily! Our team is the bulldogs so this fit in wonderfully! Ten stars if I could!

I've been coaching football for more than 20 years. And my kid has been on a sideline every year of his life. So when he wants every football accessory known to man, of course he wants all of the expensive ones. But I'm smart enough to know when you should or shouldn't spend money. At the youth level, a back plate does NOT need to be expensive. And this one is a good fit. The design has some 'drip', which he likes, and the build is high enough quality that a youth player wont break it. I think this is a perfectly good buy for the youth football game.

Back plate is very sturdy. Survived a full season of high school football. Stays in place and comes with additional hardware pieces for mounting onto shoulder pads. The design was also as pictured, and is nice quality.

I have two boys in high school football and our mascot is a bulldog. When I saw this I immediately had to snag one. The colors also match our school colors and I want my boys to show off pride for their high school. The backplate is harder and sturdier than other more expensive brands we’ve purchased. It did come with the hardware which is also a plus. It provides more protection for the lower back. When my other son saw it he asked that I buy him one as well. We now have two.

This works great so farwe purchased one and within a few practices it had broken and a screw came outthis has held on strong now for over a month of practices and not moving unlike it shouldprotects him very wellhes a very tall 7 year old and it fits him perfectly
