Liked this a lot. It worked well. Then one day, after just a little over 2 months, I noticed my drain was very slow. I pulled it out to clean the strainer and find that the strainer basket had detached from the fastener. I go online to get a refund/replacement but the option is not available anymore. Wasted money.

My initial review upon this product's arrival was 5-stars because all I had to do was unbox it and set it into the drain of my bathroom sink and it worked without having to do any adjustments.Sorry for this long one-star follow-up but I'm submitting it as an alert of which to be aware and in hopes any other buyers or those considering find it useful.The problem is that the catch "basket" is secured very poorly tothe notched sleeve it sits in. Within days I noticed the basket had became partially detached from the sleeve and was at risk of fully separating and going down the drain (extraction of which would be difficult at best and a costly pipe replacement at worst).Rather than suffer that consequence, I removed the basket and sleeve, but in doing so that then defeated the product's purpose.I considered returning it for a refund but I decided first to attempt a repair by applying a thin line of super glue to the outside top of the basket and then setting it back into the sleeve (but not pushing it too far up so as to obstruct the slots and thus prevent it from locking onto the notches). The basket is now back in place in the drain and so far so good: the super glue seems to be doing the job the manufacturer didn't. Of course it will now require regular attention to make sure any glue deterioration doesn't cause the basket to go down the drain, and I will definitely post a much-shorter but expletive-rich update should that happen.Again, I'm sorry for the long post. Hope it helps some of you out there.

Too tight of a fit for my drainage. I was about to fit this item when I removed the first layer of the rubber washer. After that it works fine with no issues. It does drain slower then I was expecting.
