This is a lot of putty for the price, making it a great value. It feels high quality, too. This tub will last me forever.

I bought this 5 lb tub a few months ago to use as a backstop for air rifles. Works extremely well. Stole a baking sheet from my wife and rolled this out to completely fill the tray. No ricochets from pellets now. This stuff has not dried out despite being in the open air constantly. Incidentally it also came in handy when I installed new bathroom sinks and drains. Lol

Not a pump as the description says. It’s a large tub of putty. Complete fraud to sell a tub of putty for this price

We are using this pump for three fountains - rock bubblers. I ordered the same pump we were using for 8 1/2 years. It eventually stopped working. It runs on a timer for approximately 10 hours a day from April -May thru mid- November.

I use these pumps for a waterfall i have in my back yard. This is my third or fourth little giant pump of this type. They work pretty hard as its a larger water feature. they normally last around 3-4 years but the last one I bought (through Amazon) conked out after about 17 months. Usually the capacitor fails and you hear a humming noise but the impeller blade no longer turns. There isn't much way you can work on these - they were built to use and then discard. When the pump failed while still under its 3 year warranty I notified Amazon who pushed back and told me after a year I needed to go directly to the manufacturer. I called the 800 number on the pump box, left a message and received a callback from a customer service rep the next day. He started the warranty process and i had a new pump the following week. I did not have to return the failed pump.I consider that outstanding customer service. I will continue to use Little Giant pumps and suggest you consider them for any task requiring a submersible pump. They are a good value, easy to install and the company that makes them stands behind their product.

This is my second pump of this kind. The cord of the first one got cut by my ex-boyfriend, so I had to buy a new one, but it had lasted 5 years up until that point. My second pump has lasted less than two years. It is spraying water from the housing where the seams are on the side all the way around, and it's making a loud humming noise. It still pumps water, but the noise is so loud and unpleasant that I've unplugged it. I feel it should last for longer than two years for the price. When it works, it is a nice pump.

I have mixed feelings giving this four stars. Why? Well, when I opened the lid, there was clearly a handful missing. You could see the finger marks! I took a picture. For most products, that would give you a weird feeling, wouldn't it? But still, there was at least 4.5 pounds left, and the price was still cheaper than 1 pound. So I'm using it anyway. I only needed about 4 ounces or so. The putty was in good condition, moist and very usable. I figure that even if whoever took some out had some disease, it would have died in the putty. I hope.

I needed a large amount of plumbers putty for a huge leak I had around my bathroom window. It is just a temporary fix until I get a professional contractor, but so far the oately putty is holding up great against the wind and rain and has stayed pliable within the container. It does require a bit of "kneading" to soften before use, but every brand of plumbers putty that I have used has been the same consistency. It was a great bargain price too!!

This is our 2nd Little Giant WGP 95 due to an unsupervised pup destroyed the cord on the first after several years of excellent use. We were so pleased with the pump that we've replaced it with a duplicate. We have had our ponds about decade now, we've used a variety of pumps including external pumps designed for swimming pump use. By far this is the best pump for typical koi ponds. To prevent the intake from becoming clogged, we took a milk crate and added 1/4" wire mesh with a cutout for the pumps tubes and power cord. Now it's easy to unplug the pump and use a net to remove leaves and such from around the "pump cage". If we needed a larger cage we would have used one of those pump cages available from pond outlets for pondless waterfalls or for the cheaper route for the DIYer, we planned to use the white plastic trim molding available in the siding aisle to bolt together and attach the wire mesh to - but so far the milk crate is working out well and with it being dark is not visible on the bottom of the pond.I highly recommend the EPDM rubber liner such as to use with this pump for a typical koi pond - be sure to order a large enough liner. If in doubt, go with the next largest size. When ordering this pump be sure to get the 1" tubing and hose clamps. If the hose connection is loose you can add a piece of cut off rubber liner to the hose fitting. There are two outflows so plan accordingly. We have one outlet running into a filter box and one running straight into the pond though I intend to add spitters at a later date.
