Don’t waste your money. I can barely feel a breeze even if it’s on 9 which is the highest. It is soooo loud!!

I bought this for my mom as a gift to replace her old box fan. This looks nice and it does a nice job of cooling.

What I received isn’t what I ordered. I ordered white & got silver. It does not put out as much air as noise level suggests. I understand the cord’s heaviness but it is black and difficult to reach outlet from the floor. The fan is too big to put on table or shelf. Sorry I purchased it. It is just ugly. It’s too big and cumbersome to return. The white with a white cord might be might make it easier to put up with the low output and noise. But the remote control is very handy.

I love this fan. It's just the right height that it could be put on the floor or on top of something. Even at the highest setting it still is relatively quiet.

This Ocean Loong bladeless fan stands freely on the floor at just short of a metre tall - 97cm. Construction is all plastic but to a reasonably high standard. It has a base unit where the fan speed and body oscillation are controlled as well as where air is drawn in through a HEPA filter before it is delivered up the arms of the loop where it is expelled through a series of vents that run along the edge. The air flows up each side and more air flows from the distant end than the end closest to the body because the air pressure inside is highest where the flow is lowest which is at the ends of the arms. This can be quite marked when it is running at a higher speed and can be designed out before it is built if need be - but it wasn't here. The fan works by passing air at a higher pessure through the vents which, through the shape of the arms, entrains more room air, lowering the flow rate but increasing the volume substantially. The body is fairly short at around 40cm tall and has a touch screen control panel on it and just for convenience, the fan also comes with a remote control which is very useful. They both allow you to: turn the fan on and off; change the speed of the fan, turn oscillations on and off; limit the amount of time that it runs - one to nine hours so you can set it up at the beginning of the day and know that it is not going to be running all night if somebody forgets to switch it off; and, just on the remote, there is a button that turns it up full in one button press. The current status of the fan is displayed on the touch screen although that turns off automatically after one minute.Additonally, the loop will tilt forwards or backwards, allowing you to move air too or from floor level. There are several advantages to these bladeless fans; there are no external blades to cause injuries; and, they are substantially quieter than the fans with blades. In a quiet room (34dBA) I tried it out at various levels and it ranges from 41dBa at its slowest with a big step up to 47dBA at speed two, fairly steadily to 58dBA at level nine. These aren't particularly quiet but they are in keeping with the sound levels you get from other office items such as computers and printers. At just under a metre tall and sitting in its own space on the floor, it tends to dominate a small office but at lower speeds, it sits fairly quietly, keeping the air moving around.

This fan works great, it's a little louder than my Dyson but I can live with it.

I got this as a replacement for a tower fan that had seen better days. This Ocean Loong fan is a very different design to my old unit, resembling a well known brand design that is considerably more expensive.Despite being made entirely of plastic, the entire unit feels very well made and robust. Sat atop an intake base, the bladeless fan top part is the tallest part of the construction. As well as the 90 degree swing around which the base can rotate, the top fan can be tilted to ensure accurate distribution of the airflow. The base also operates as a HEPA air purifier. There are 9 fan speeds available for use. As you would expect, the fan sound increases as the speed does and anything above setting 2, for me, can be quite loud. This doesn't detract from the viewing experience on the TV though as you soon forget about it.It also comes equipped with a remote control, which is very useful indeed. The fan can also be operated via touch controls on the unit itself.I like this fan and it certainly is an upgrade on my old tower fan. The design is very attractive, with the modern white and silver colour scheme blending in anywhere.Good value and recommended.

I admit it's quiet until we get around level 3. Level 9 is the highest level. However, it doesn't blow as hard. it's pretty loud. You figured that with how loud it is, it would push out better air.
