Perfect for new frags that you want to keep in the sand bed, IE Blastos/Acans/Favia/Paly corals. You could even just leave one frag in the "rock" to just grow out. Holes are spaced out well enough that you don't have to worry about sweeper tentacles touching other coral frags(unless you have some crazy long sweepers). Also could be used to slowly acclimate and coral to the lights of your tank like SPS corals before moving them up higher. Exactly what I needed.

Exactly what I was looking for. Although they were very well packaged, one had a chip. It was on the underside, will never be seen, so no worries on my part.
