Have 3 AC units and added 1 of the 4 light systems to each of my units. AC company wanted $1500 per system to install single light UV Air Quality unit. Saved myself $3450 by purchasing and installing these units myself. 2 of my AC units had duct board plenums on the supply side and did have to pay AC company $450 per unit to replace with elongated sheet metal plenums. Used a 2.5" multi-purpose Heavy Duty Bi-Hole Saw bit from Home Depot for the UV light holes and simple tin snips to cut the tabs between the holes. Used box cutter knife and scissors to cut through the insulation in the plenum boxes. Had to pre-drill all the surface mounts to work with provided sheet metal screws (not self-tapping). Used a 3/32 inch bit for the pre-drill holes. Would dry fit the system to insure all fits before installing UV lamps and mounting it. Works flawlessly so far. Turns on when air is flow and off when not to extend lamp life. Very pleased with how easy this was.

I was very happy to recieve OS72 to help me with kitchen and pets odor. I spend a few hours to install it in my air return duct. Installation was relatively easy and the unit started to work immidiatly. After a week of use we ask our relatives if they fill odor improvemt in our house. They did notice a little improvement but open windows are much better but not always possible. After four months the bulbs are dead but thanks to the Odor Stop custome service they are sending me new bulbs. I hope that I have to change bulbs once a year.

Bought this in mid 2021 but was not able to install it until Jan 2022. (Follow the instructions very closely) I had to cut a hole in the wall first then I cut the holes in the furnace, installed it, turned it on and two of the UV bulbs did not work. The base unit was defective. Contacted the mfg and they took it under the two year warranty. I shipped it via Postal with insurance and tracking. It got there the next day. That doesn't surprise me. The day after they got it, I got an email that the unit was repaired and ready to ship. They sent it via another carrier and it took many days to get back to me. Some things that I've noticed. The odors in my house are going away. I am breathing better. My sinuses are not as congested. This is a great product and the service is amazing. Everyone should have one.

Great product, easy install the screws could be better. You do get a smell when system is working but it is the smell clean air, the screws are not shelf tapping those will be replaced with better ones . As far as install you need 2 1/2 hole saw and some tin snaps is all you need for install, please plan out where you put before buying. It does tell you not to install near plastic or near material that UV may degrade over time, if you have a A/C condenser inside to install above that. As far as maintenance check ever 3 months to clean bulbs (not not touch as it will cause to go premature) bulbs are around $20 to $40 each to replace not to bad. It does come with templates to mount it is recommended to install until with bulbs running left and right instead of top to bottom do to gravity causing undue stresses on sockets. It does come with a small release you easily press to release the bulbs, one person can do this our you can get a helper no need to call an pay for install. Great product so far, will do an update in three months.

First off, before I even bought this unit, I called OS and talked to Jessica as I was a bit apprehensive about spending this much for a unit, but it was still cheaper than the OEM version (2-lamps) from Carrier. She was able to assure me that the Pro version with the airflow sensor would work fine in my Carrier Infinity system as it does not move much air when running on stage-1 (I have a 5-stage heat pump)Purchased this OdorStop OS72PRO UV Air Purifier for my new Carrier system that I had put in 2 years ago. I previously had another one, it was "Tinker toy" version of this one with 2 - 9 or 18w lamps in it. This is indeed a pro version with 72 watts worth of UVC killing power. The unit is packed VERY well, but apparently the carrier still found a way to break both lamps. Reached out to OS and Bridget replied and I received replacement lamps within a week. GREAT CUSTOMER service and Bridget responded to my inquiry right away.I had a noticeable difference as the air smelled "Clean" after 2 hours. I will check again in about 6 mos to see what the coil looks like, but am confident it will get the job done and will update my review if anything changes.7/21/20 Update***********Had to drop my rating back due to the following. Unit had been running for a week now. I checked on the unit yesterday morning and one of the green status LED's, that shows both lamps are lit was out. Did not mess with it at the time, but went to check on it again and both LED's were on this time. Don't know what the deal is, but figure if it was a bad lamp, it would have stayed out? Re seated both lamps to be sure. Might be the ballast is having an issue? Will watch it in the coming week and update if it is OK. Kind of worried after only a week*****12/15/20 UPDATE********One of the lamps failed after only 5 mos of use. I have contacted the company to see about a replacement as I think they warranty lamps for 1 year.******2/10/20 UPDATE*********Had to drop it another star, because for the price you pay, it does not seem to delivering any sort of long-term value. Don't know if they had a bad batch of lamps/ballasts or what, but the second original lamp has now failed after 7 mos. I can say, they were good enough to honor the 1-year lamp warranty in Dec when the first one failed and have contacted them again. Beginning to think I got a lemon! If they fail again, then I will be ordering another brand of UV light period.******6/29/20 UPDATE*********The unit has stopped working AGAIN! During maintenance, my HVAC guy said "your UV light is not working" and I tapped on it, then it came on. This was previously repaired and it either has a bad solder joint or bad relay that is sticking?Sent email to Jessica at Odor stop (again) and seeing what our resolution is this time around. NOT HAPPY to have spent $300 on a unit that has not even worked consistently for less than a year!******7/6/20 UPDATE*********Got in touch with them about yet another warranty repair in less than a year. Jessica replied and they are sending a new unit this week. Based on some of the other more recent reviews, I am not the only one having issues apparently. Hope the new one works past a year so i can get some $$ out of this purchase.*****11/20/21 UPDATE********NEVER AGAIN! WHOLE unit was replaced by O.S. on 2/22/21, now again after 8 mos. both lamps are shot. I think they REALLY have a Q.C. issue with their lamps. Would expect lamps to last min of a year. In any case, I CANNOT recommend their product at all. Checked unit and Ballast failed along with both lamps after only having the replacement since June of this year.Side note: Their customer service is great and have stood behind their warranty, but the quality of the procuct is far from stellar to keep having issues like this.
