The ODYSSEY battery can handle it. Featuring rugged construction and packed tightly with pure lead plates, the non-spillable AGM design ODYSSEY battery protects against the shock and vibration that can quickly destroy other batteries. And the pure lead plates mean more power-twice the overall power and three times the life of conventional batteries-up to 400 cycles at 80% depth of discharge!

I have been using this model battery for about 20 years now, in my LS aircraft. It is very reliable and durable. I usually need to replace the battery about every 4 years, as the starting power drops off. The only down side of this battery is it's price, but for me, it is worth it.

I put this in my Honda S2000. It replaced a much larger standard car battery. This weighs half as much. That's an easy 15 pound weight reduction. My first battery lasted 4-5 years in Alabama. It has plenty of starting power even on a high-compression 4-cylinder engine. If this was powering a golf cart, or motorcycle, I think it would even go longer. This is great for a race car that doubles as a daily driver. Just be sure you buy the screw-in Odyssey brass battery posts so you can connect a car battery.Just a note - it is a smaller battery, it cranks more strongly than a standard battery of the same size, but reserve capacity is limited. That means if you leave your headlights on for 15 minutes or run the radio for an hour with the car off, you may need to jump start it. But as long as you don't make these mistakes, it is a FANTASTIC battery.

When the battery went bad I contacted support.... basically the warranty is written so that after you jump through a bunch of hoops... if it fails (which it definitely will) they don't do anything. Specifically "Battery has a minimum of 10.5V when returned for warranty support (void if less 10.5V due to over discharged condition)"... if its dead, it WON'T HAVE 10.5V!!Email their support for yourself and test it!!• Provide general photos of the battery to include ALL battery labels with clear view of information printed on them. Note that the serial number (SN) bar code label is located on the front side of the battery’s cover.• Provide a copy of the purchase receipt or order confirmation from Amazon.• Provide a rested voltage reading from the battery 24 hours off charge from any charging source• Provide CCA load test results that include a voltage reading and CCA reading from the battery at the time the battery is tested. If printed results are not available, then pictures of the tester results work just as well and can be provided by a local dealer/distributor or Auto Parts retailer like AutoZone.• Provide a ship to name, address, and phone number of where you would like the replacement battery to go, if warranty is approvedIf it fails testing, it can be replaced under warranty if warranty requirements have been met.Warranty requirements:• Battery has no case distortion or damage due to overheating or mishandling• Battery has a minimum of 10.5V when returned for warranty support (void if less 10.5V due to over discharged condition)• Battery fails to recover when charged and/or does not test within battery specifications• Battery has failed within the warranty period based on the battery model and application usage per the warranty. 2 years for non-engine start or powersports application use and 3 years for engine start only for Extreme non-BCI group sized models and Performance models and 4 years for engine start ONLY for Extreme BCI group sized models. If you have any further questions please email warranty@enersys.com.

The 'light weight' is rated low, meaning the battery is heavy, however this battery must be heavy and is the best battery I have found for demanding climates, built to last and can stand temperatures from -20C to +40C starting and keeping large touring motorcycles and rally cars going for 5+ years without fail. Note if left on standby charging overwinter in colder latitudes a charger such as an CTEK (56-353) Multi US 7002 is best at providing the high charging voltage required. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B000FRLO9Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Odyssey makes a high quality battery. I use this one as a second (accessory) battery in my YXZ. Never lets me down.It does come with the L terminal brackets. You dont have to buy them separately as the write up would have you believe.

I was tired of trying to keep my farm store batteries charged up and having to replace every two years in my yamaha Vmax so I decided to look the forums and see what others used for batteries. The Odyessy was well talked about so I decided to spend the money on it. Initially I was very impressed it came with a full charge on it and cranked my bike over faster than any other battery I've had, starts it up no problem even in chilly temperatures. I ussually pull my battery out in the winter and bring it in the house and top off the charge every month or so until spring. I didnt get around to it this winter since we had some warmer days early on in the winter, so I left the battery in and put a maintainer charge on it about 3 months in, but it didnt take much it was still at a full charge, I put it on once more two months later and then a month after that I decided to start it up for a ride with the onset of spring and it still impresses how nice it cranks over my 1200 V4. We had some good cold snaps this winter down to about -30°F at one time, and I dont have a heated/insulated garage. If I had thought of it I would've brought the battery in the house before that, but it's just fine. I've had it for about a year now, hopefully get 2 or 3 more years out of it and I'd be happy. I'll be buying Odyessy batteries again.

Definitely a bit lighter than my stock kite, more than half the size (And my batter was small already). I finally was able to install it (I had to wait for the terminals) and it started up my car first try without any charging or anything. Possibly a weak connection because I had to cut a washer in half and shimmy it in there to make the positive hold for now. It still started without issue.I've had the battery for a year and I've run it through hell. It is dead now, but still works if I ump the car with a jump starter. Once running I can get the car moving and it's fine as long as I keep it revved, lol. Otherwise it will die. Not the fault of the battery. I got in a wreck and had the car fixed and began my own projects so it sat a lot. There is a disclaimer not to let these sit too long without being used or they may die. Mine did, and I don't fault the battery one bit. I'm quite impressed by it actually. I will be buying another and maybe disconnecting the negative or adding a switch to do so.I need to either replace the connector, or the + terminal is small. They don't bolt right on, : (, so I probably need to get a smaller connector.2015 Subaru BRZ.So far it's great. I will try to check back after some extensive usage.
