Simple wiring. Adapting the mount was a bit challenging but doable. Also had to purchase an LED light and the pig tail with the correct T plug for the exciter. Did the whole job in about 4hrs.

Perfect for my old diesel tractor. Just Google denso 3 wire alternator wiring diagram and it's pretty easy to install. 30 amps is plenty for lights and keeping the battery charged. I get 14.2 volts at idle on a 2 cylinder diesel tractor.

I put this alternator on my dad's 1949 farmall cub. It was not a direct replacement but it works great after I figured out how to wire it.

Fits under the hood just fine. I included some pictures of the belt and mounting so hopefully it will help someone. It only puts out +12.51V at idle (I never put my meter on it when running around) but I would bet that is enough to keep the battery charged. Will that low voltage damage the battery somehow? I would doubt it but I thought I would mention it. I am still in the restoration phase of my grandfather's tractor so only time will tell.

I bought this for an upgrade to a B7200 Kubota tractor that has a tiny dynamo on it... MUCH improved charging and can run lights and a winch with ease now.
