This product does not work. Truck unable to ‘find’ break controller therefore break controller I does not work. Our garage tried to assist and was unsuccessful since the truck cannot even find the controller.

Not a whole lot I can say about an OEM part, since it's literally made for my vehicle. It works great and the installation was very easy. If you're going to DIY the install like I did, be aware that you have to have the ForScan app on a laptop and an OBD adapter in order to program the truck to enable the brake controller. ForScan requires you get a PAID VERSION in order to program this specific function. This adds significantly to the cost, but it is VERY easy to do.

After having two Ensun aftermarket in dash brake controller units fail, this one works perfectly. Immediately recognized I had a trailer connected (neither Ensun units recognized a trailer), and the brakes on the trailer were activated. I should have went OEM to begin with and saved myself tearing my dash apart three times, two weeks of headaches trouble shooting and rewiring my trailer, and a missed camping vacation with my boys. Lesson learned!

This switch was supposed to fit a 2015 F150, turns out it's an old version that won't work, had to go buy a new switch in the middle of our vacation, an expense that wasn't expected

Bought this one to fit my 2013 F-150 XLT. Since it's OEM it fits perfectly and the blue backlight matches the rest of the dash perfectly (as opposed to some of the other ones with green lights). Easy to install with the help of a youtube video. Integrates as it should with the dash screen after you have a mechanic turn on the function in the computer (or do it yourself if you have one of those).

Watch the many install videos on the web. It’s an easy install. Make sure your fuse and relay are installed as well. Works as it should. I had issues with a brand new car hauler 7 pin connector. 30 minutes and problem was troubleshot and fixed. Almost forgot, I did have to have the dealership turn it on. Since it’s oem I figure it’s gonna increase my resale when the time comes. Couldn’t be happier. 2014 F-150

I am so glad that I got this controller, it works awesome! Looks great and I don't have a big ugly box hanging off my dash! Well worth the extra money, I was worried that the dealer would cost a fortune or wouldn't program it! No problem $63 later all programmed and going camping. I put this on a 2012 f150 xlt. Took only 10 min to install so easy!

This brake controller installs in less than 10 minutes, however you have to take it to the dealership to get it activated. Dealer in Northern Virginia charged 119.00 to activate. Even though you buy the controller and install it yourself after paying the dealership you are looking at a little over 300. If the dealer installs and activates it is slightly over 500 so it is still a great deal.
