It has survived 1000 miles so far, hasn't caused any issues as far as I can tell. Not a fun part to replace, but once in it should last a little while. Does highway speeds every day and doesn't seem to run out of fuel due to a low flow rate. Decent enough little pump, especially for the price.

Sadly I thought I was getting a direct replacement pump to put in the harness but it was not. Needed to modify the original unit to get it to accept the in tank filter and to top it off, it only builds 2lbs of pressure not the minimum 36 psi it needs to run the C3 scooter

I went through fuel pumps on my Yamaha G29 EFI golf cart like crazy. The fuel is so crappy these days and I figured out that "ethanol free" at the pump isn't actually totally ethanol free. At least where I was buying it. The aftermarket ones were dying after a month or so. Being a motorcycle guy for years, I thought high performance fuel pump. Not really a thing on golf carts, but dirt bikes, yes. Found a similar cc motor, stayed with Yamaha for the similar way it connected and tried it. It's been running great ever since. Try this at your own risk, but it worked for me.

Try to reuse old pump wires. Carefully remove them and it interfaces with the connector. Otherwise you need to splice. For our application the filter was vertical in lieu of horizontal. This is ok and even might be better. Either re use old filter screen or use the new one but imo better to use new.
