I replaced the original a couple years ago with an inexpensive one but that began to fail in that short of time. I installed this one and it's working as advertised. Changing accessory components on a home a.c. is pretty simple and anyone with simple hand tools and fai to middlin mechanical abilities can change them. Take a picture of the connections on your phone and refer back to them when reinstalling.
