I was excited to receive this wax melter for added convenience when making candles. Unfortunately, it arrived in poor condition -- the bottom of the pot wasn’t attached, leaving wires exposed. I tried for several minutes to screw the base back on, but had trouble aligning the parts properly and ultimately decided it wasn’t worth the hassle.There were also no assembly instructions included, which made me assume the melter was supposed to come fully assembled. This seems like a quality control issue.One design drawback I noticed is that the pot is built into the unit and can’t be removed, which would make cleaning more difficult compared to, say, a rice cooker. While the price is affordable, the inconvenience and potential safety concerns make it a no-go for me.

This pot works great for the price point. It does take a minute to heat up but other than that, it keeps the wax warm and is really easy to clean

I’ve been using this for a few weeks to make wax melts and I’m so in love with it. My wax melts fast, and it’s incredibly convenient. I do wish there was an actual place to pour from instead of the situation it currently has. It’s also super easy to clean, I reheat it if there’s any wax leftover inside, wipe out the melted wax with a paper towel, and clean it up with rubbing alcohol to remove any leftover oils from the wax.

I used the melter today with 2 types of wax. It melted both completely and quickly. I have been making candles and melts for 18 years and this melter is perfect for the small batches I make. Handled 2 pounds of wax with no issues, cleaned up easily. I highly recommend this melter.

This has been one of the best investments I’ve made for handmade candles! It’s so easy to heat up the way and pour. I typically don’t add color or scent to the wax while it’s inside here so it’s easier to add more if needed! Genuinely love this and would recommend to anyone making candles and starting out!

I'm glad that I made this purchase. Much easier and quicker than a double boiler method. I pour in small batches, so this was perfect. The pouring spout isn't narrow, so you may want to pout into a pouring container for smaller mouth vessels or using with molds.
