This beautiful havdalah candle has a lovely but light beeswax aroma. It's larger than standard havdalah candles, and fits into havdala candle holders accommodating shaped candles.
The wicks are high quality to emit the least smoke -a big plus. You don't want to set off the smoke alarm unnecessarily every Saturday night! It burns & lasts a long time particularly if used for typical 60 seconds per week, at the close of Shabbat & Chagim.
This Ner Havdalah is the traditional braided candle used by Jews at the close of Shabbos for hundreds of years. This candle is handmade from pure natural beeswax. The light of its multiple wicks serve to remind us of the Creation of Light, given to Adam and Eve at the beginning of time. Every week we are renewed & refreshed with our ultimate purpose.
Havdalah, or havdalla means "separation" referring to a Jewish religious ceremony marking the symbolic end of Shabbat or Jewish festivals. The ritual involves making a blessing over a cup of wine, and bsamim – smelling spices - upon the Shabbat ending. A special Havdalah candle with multiple wicks is lit, and a blessing is recited.

Was always taught Havdalah candles are two, which represent the two candles we light for Shabbat. It's also larger than I was expecting. It's flat and over a foot long. Will not diminish the review however, because of expectation. Looks like a good candle, well made and I still plan on using it after I study the meaning of the third. Thank you! Shalom..

Since the first time I started using Havdallah candles made from bee wax, everything changed, these candles are better than the ones made from wax. They last longer and they’re brighter.Highly recommended!

This is everything you want in a havdallah candle. Light beeswax scent, burns cleanly without smoke, nice long length, pretty braid, nice big flame. The price is more than you'd pay for a paraffin candle, but I am happy to pay a little more for a genuine beeswax candle, because the scent is special, the flame is more golden and prettier, and it elevates the mitzvah of havalladh to use special things.

This is a good quality Havdalah candle, especially during the hot summer months, the candle did not bend over from the high heat and humidity during the week. It burns nicely without excessive dripping,and was reasonably priced.
