High quality replacement seals for use with stock oil cooler or with bypass adapter. These oil cooler seals adapt early Type 1 engine blocks to run with late oil coolers. These seals have one end that is 8mm for your early style engine block and a 10 mm side for late doghouse oil coolers. Commonly know as the green oil cooler seals.
Compatible with Volkswagen:
- Type 1 [Beetle/Bug] 1950-1970,
- Karmann Ghia 1956-1970,
- Type 2 [Transporter/Bus] 1950-1970

This works great when using a newer oil cooler on an older case where the seal sizes are slightly different. Can use the straight seals, but these fit better and are less susceptible to being pinched.Also, always use Nylock nuts to secure the oil cooler...a small investment in the security of the oil cooler staying tight.

Product as described, but not product shown. Product shown in photo are late seals, not adapters. Didn’t notice my mistake until they arrived. Return shipping cost more than product, so these will go on the parts shelf.
