I love the design of this chain. The geometric design of the links gives the chain a very beefy appearance that I think would cause a thief to think twice. I haven’t tried to cut the chain with bolt cutters, but I think it would present a formidable challenge. The geometric design also makes the chain unique and, in my opinion, more attractive than standard chains. The carabiners are well made also, though I am using the chain with a padlock and so I am not using the carabiners right now. I particularly like the carabiner with the lock nut to keep it closed.

I have been wanting to replace our gate on the fence to have a better contraption on it so that I could have it locked and ensure the safety of my kids and me. This chain actually spared me the headache of replacing anything and worked perfectly instead. This wraps around two posts, one from the fence and one from the swining gate that we enter our yard through, and with a combo lock we are able to keeping secure. This chain is quite heavy in my hands and I can see that it is made with quality material. It cannot ve manipulated, stretched, Or even broken without serious force. Its the thick square pieces that are so durable and strong. I feel confident that we are safe and no one will come through our yard without serious effort. This is a big deal for this momma and her babies. I would buy this again and also recommend

This chain is solid and decently heavy. I use it to lock up my bike with a padlock lock. It would require bolt cutters to cut through. The carabiners at the end make it easy to attach to itself on my bike while I am riding my bike. It is about 2 feet long, but could be attached to more chain with the carabiners. I've been using it about 2 months and haven't had any problems!

I knew what I was getting, and yes, I know it’s short but what I received was a few links short of the full two feet. Not a huge deal but it won’t work for the intended purpose of securing my generator. Other than that, this is a nice quality chain that allows a good-sized lock to be used, way better than what you see at the big box stores, but I wish you could order it in different lengths.

At first glance, this is a nice looking chain which feels sturdy. It’s a tad short (23” and change) and feels hefty, but not too heavy. There’s one locking carabiner and one non-locking one, and both can fit between the links for utilizing shorter lengths. I’m not worried about the cutting resistance, I’m more worried about it pulling apart since I’m using it as a safety chain for a boat trailer, but I hope it never gets tested under the worst conditions.

I requested and received for free this 2 FOOT x 1/4 INCH SQUARE SECURITY CHAIN last week to review and give my honest opinion. Before I ordered this chain I had ordered and received a PADLOCK from this same company and it was the BEST quality padlock I have ever seen. Following through with that I now needed a quality chain to go with it to keep my gas generator chained up safe while we go out of town for a day or two at a time. I ordered one from the same company. All was going great until the actual chain came and I discovered i should have read all the information on both the best chain I got and the best lock I got. In my mind two feet of chain sound like a lot, it may be in some cases but not in my case, too short, ME BAD, and having the best lock around doesn't help if the shackle is too big to fit thru the best chain I just got, ME DOUBLE BAD. Now my dilemma is, do I lock up my generator with my best chain and my second best lock with a longer shackle, or do I lock it up with my best lock and my second best chain? Maybe I better just use both to be on the safe side..........

This is a very weighty heavy duty chain. Its exactly what we needed for our gate. Our Pyrenees kept popping the cheap chain that came with our gate. Its been over a month and she hasn't been able to escape through the gate.

For personal defense. Just kidding! It is heavy and thick. I replaced an even thicker one for this one becuse of how wide it is. The other would fit in. However, I still feel like safety went up with this type of chain. The carabiners are a plus so that it doesn't slide from the cyclone fence when I want to leave it open.
