Your cart is empty.A classic toy with an old world map look, this kaleidoscope is made with plastic beads and lenses and a tough outer shell, so it's child friendly. Rotating the "barrel" makes colorful shapes melt and shift into one another for an impressive effect. Ages 5 and up.

Bonito y sencillo, pero crea los mismos patrones. Vale la pena para despertar la curiosidad de niños y adultos 👍

I'm not sure why they make it with 1 small mirror and 2 large mirrors. It look like the view is blocked. So, I bought 2 and exchanged the mirror, making one toy with 3 large mirrors. It is easy to do and cheaper. I have 3 kaleidoscope and the view are not that great because they are made with paper mirror. It is safe for the kids. But this one is made with real mirror. It looks way nicer and cheaper.

arrived so quickly , faster than I expected. Items in perfect condition. the children who rec'd them are simply delighted with them must say the map of the world print on the items is very classy. Kaleidoscopes , being unfamiliar to these modern kids, were a great hit. thanks Toysmith, you'll be seeing me again as a customer.

this kaleidoscope its very small, it will be perfect for a child. It does have pretty colors but the "beets" inside are from plastic, overall its very fragile. It worth the price though (8$)

We had purchased this one initially in a gift store in McDonalds observatory near Big Bend National park and were so pleased with its quality and brilliance that wanted to order more as gifts for our friends kids. Had a few hits and misses but eventually found this item which was an exact replica of what we wanted. Though they don't come in Tin casing, the colors/designs are brilliant (against cheap plastic ones the competitors present) and more than make up for it and make it 5 star rating. I already ordered 3 and would be ordering more.

It's wonderful! The colored panes at the end of the tube are SUCH an improvement over the kaleidoscopes with clear ends, where you basically just see the beads themselves tumbling around. THIS kaleidoscope combines the beads with the colored panes to make really dramatically beautiful images. I think I'll be buying this for some more children I know... and maybe one for myself too.

This toy is just amazing. I had a bit of a "craving" for one of these toys, which I used to be able to buy at the Ben Franklin for 69 cents. Those days are behind us! But this is so amazing and beautiful and well made that I'm not the least bit sorry I spent more than 69 cents "> I just bought another one for my girl friend, for her birthday and I plan to buy a 3rd to keep as a "spare" because this is an IDEAL gift for someone in the hospital or with a long-term illness. Color (light waves) are very healing for the brain. So I'm delighted I found this toy. thank you.

I bought it despite the negative reviews on Amazon, and found it to my liking. It is not a super-hardy construction (and therefore, may not last in the hands of an infant or a toddler), but it's not shabbily built either. The kaleidoscope works as expected, making beautiful patterns. The only gripe I have is that the way the eye hole is cut, it is partially obscured by the two angled mirrors. This impedes a complete circular view of the colored patterns inside. This is a design flaw, since other kaleidoscopes I have used earlier did not have this particular problem.
