herramienta muy versátil a la hora de trazar y cortar círculos, tiene la ventaja de usar una hoja de cutter genérica y lo mejor es que se puede cortar hasta cartones de gramaje alto

it's hard to cut a circle to the exact size I want because the numbers on the back are not correct. If you set it at 8 you get about a 5-7/8". That's why I only give it 3 Stars. I need exact for cake circles. It does cut a very clean edge of foam core which is a plus.

It is a pretty neat gadget that cuts well through thicker cardboard or illustration board I use for color wheels. Cutting is accurate and clean with the snap-off knife refills which is clever. I go around two to three times to make sure the cut is clean through on a large kitchen cutting board underneath. Had to tape the board down so it didn't slip. You can use a piece of high grade sand paper like 1000 -3000 grit to lightly scuff off any shards of paper that remain. Or, a nail file.

I will start by saying I am a "Tool Guy" and have a garage full of tools and a lot of Olfa cutting products that are my "go-to" favorites. In fact, I have a lot of tools to cut circles but nothing to do it quickly and easily - which is what this tool does. It has a good solid feel and easy blade change. The center pin is easy to use (once I figured it out - see youtube video). This tool cuts circles quite well but most people will have problems if they try to follow the cryptic instructions. I suggest you go online and view them before purchase and after purchase with the tool in hand. We used this to cut 50+ foam core circles at 12" each with only about 3 issues. Issue 1, the tool has a poor measuring device built into it so plan on using a tape measure or ruler. Issue 2, the center pin has a bit of wonder / slop when doing multiple passes in thicker material. We reduced this by placing a plywood board under the piece to be cut with a small hole in it for alignment. This helped dramatically and worked to speed up the process quite well. Issue 3, the tool does not cut a full 12" circle at full adjustment - closer to 11.97" but it worked for this use. I think if they extended the guide another 1" it would really help. If I had to do another 50 cutouts this would work but if I were needing more than that at one run, I might look for a bigger punch. It works perfectly on 10" and 8" cardboard as well.

Cutter arrived promptly and in good shape. If you need to cut circular holes in art board, foamcore board, or heavy fabrics, this is the tool to have. It's a well-finished example of Japanese precision-cast plastics and is significantly more rigid than any other hand-held cutter I've used, so you can take deeper, more precise cuts. The Olfa's adjustable center pin - which in many cutters is simply a flimsy pin, is a 3mm sharpened spike with an integrated depth adjuster, this pin stays centered as you cut deeper into the circle, yielding clean crisp holes in a very short time. The only 'gotchas' to mention are that the cutter's cross bar is calibrated in centimeters, forcing us Imperial users to think like the rest of the world, and that many of Olfa's more advanced tools are difficult to find in the U.S.Fortunately, Olfa's online support is excellent, with very understandable pictographs and videos, and Mt Fuji seems to be a very competent vendor with a full stock through Amazon.A highly recommended tool that has saved me time and removed a fair amount of 'color' from my vocabulary.

Bought this almost a year ago and thought I hated it because it was difficult to use. Well, the whole time I was using it wrong. I just recently saw a video on how to use it and it works perfectly! Very handy tool that helps me save money on cake supplies.

I liked the quality and the feel of this tool in use. The OLFA blade that is included is the carbon steel version. It cut like cutting through butter on carboard box material, foamboard, and 1/4 " rubber matting. Really made cutting circles for a project fun. The black carbon blades cut MUCH better than stainless or anything else that I tried. If you need to cut circles in the above materials, this will make your life easier. One blade is included, but it's lasting for quite a few cuts. Make sure you get the OLFA black ultrasharp blades for replacements.

I bought this to cut circles from cardboard. I tried and failed miserably until I found this video for help:Start watching this video at 13:34 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hVzhGj2ccY before you use this product!I was about to send mine back before I found this video. It still took me several tries to perfect my circle cutting technique on cardboard, but now I think I got it. It takes some finesse.
