So yeah. The whole friggen rod on my 79 CJ7 just snapped off while in town. Luckily the light turned green, which allowed us to coast into a parking lot. A new rod, tip, and spring made the Jeep shift better than it ever has in the 20+ years I've owned it. Maybe I should have swapped it sooner...

I couldn’t be happier with this part and the price point. I thought I was going to have to replace the entire clutch linkage on my 1975 CJ5 when the lower clutch arm became worn and started popping out. Pretty scary (and potentially really bad for your clutch depending on when it fails) to have your clutch suck to the floor while going down the road. The old original pivot ball and cup became warped and worn and would not stay in place when the clutch is properly adjusted. Pulled that part right off, bolted this one in, adjusted the clutch pedal free play to approx. 1” free play and I am back in business and stronger than beforeSome people referenced not getting the part pictured and receiving a HEIM joint part. I did not receive that and got the part pictured.Perfect fit and I’m back on the road.

Bolted up well to clutch bell crank, and makes adjustment of clutch arm easier. Heim joint prevents some binding from worn plasic isolaters and locking pin set up.

i read the other review of the picture not being what you get, you do get the one with the heim joint so i knew that going in and it works perfectly.
