This apron is very stiff because of the wax but it does a good job at protecting my clothes. It will probably get less stiff over time but either way it is handy to have around and does a good job.

I'm pretty impressed with this apron. The canvas is sturdy and the combination of snaps and clips makes it easier to take on and off. I'm a large human (6'6", 330 lbs) and this actually fits. It feels like it's designed for larger-than-average people.

I was very pleased to find this apron to be so thick and durable. I'll be mostly using as a crafting apron and there's nothing that I use that will get through this thing! The heavy waxed fabric is very protective and seems to be waterproof. It's long enough to provide good coverage and the pockets allow me to keep in use items handy.

This apron is made really well. The fabric is strong, with kind of a wax coating. It reminds me of the long oiled coats that were popular years ago. It will work for a lot of different jobs and projects. Maybe the straps could be a little wider, but they adjust nicely to fit different sizes. The creases from being folded to ship haven't gone away yet, but I think they would if I hang it out in the warm sun. The price is probably average.

Working regularly with a team that does regular industrial painting and design in the movie industry who can sometimes go through as many aprons in a few jobs as I would go through in a lifetime, I can confidently say that this is considered an upper tier apron. The wax coating provides a great protective barrier, and the overall fit is reasonably comfortable and able to be worn for a standard shift. The back straps add some additional security, and are not the simple straps I used when wearing an apron in my coffee shop days. The overall stitching and craftsmanship is excellent quality, and at a reasonable price. Would recommend.

This is a good apron, it is made from fairly tough fabric, and the wax coating is not sticky or tacky.It is lighter in weight than some of the other waxed aprons I have had, and can be worn for a longer period without the shoulder straps digging in.The wax coating seems to be made from a slightly harder wax than typical.As it is not sticky, it does not attract and hold fine sawdust like the ones that are a bit tacky.This does make the apron a bit stiffer and it likes to hold wrinkles and creases a bit more.Most of the wrinkles can be removed by using a hair dryer to soften the wax while you are wearing it.This will also remove most of the lighter color areas where it was folded tightly in the packaging.The straps are a combination of leather and cotton webbing, the front of the shoulder straps and the waist belt are leather, the back of the shoulder straps are cotton webbing with leather sewn over the top half down to where they cross in the back.The straps and belt can be completely removed as they are attached with double snaps on each end.The snaps are solidly mounted, and hold well when attached.The pockets are functional without being overly roomy, the opening stays flat and closed unless there is something in the pocked, they don't fill with sawdust, at least not when new.One of the lower front pockets has the potential for something to get lost down at the bottom of it, the pocket is 7 1/2 inches deep and makes a corner at the bottom, but is too small to fit your hand into.There is no reinforcements on the backside of the pocket stitching, the upper corners will eventually tear out of the apron and leave a hole. If you don't overload the pockets, or snag them on something, this shouldn't be a major problem.

This One Size Fits All Utility Apron by Midkit is very well made.I knew by the listed weight of the item that it would be light in weight vs heavy weight which is what I was looking for but I was afraid it would be flimsy and too thin but ti my surprise it's almost perfect.The leather isn't as thin as I thought it might be; it's a very nice weight with beautiful leather characteristics and looks be of good quality. It's the thickness you find on a high quality baseball hat with leather strap and the canvas is perfectly waxed to industry standards.The pockets are sized well even for someone with XL hands like myself. I'm 6'2" and wear a 34-36" length pant and the size is perfect; falling exactly at the top of my knee cap. It arrived folded so it's a bit stiff and boxy looking but I'll put it t use tomorrow and will start breaking it in and I look forward to it!Overall I'very pleased and would recommend.
