works good, I used a socket with extension to pound it in place instead of a special tool. No problems.

My order only took one day to arrive since it was filled by Amazon themselves. I did not order the setting tool which I don't know what to do after the job is over. Instead I put the screw, the cap, and the fangled star nut together and tap the assembly lightly down the steerer tube. Make sure the cap is in the assembly, just in case you pound too hard and they go down too far. The fangle nut slipped into the steer tube smoothly. Soon after, it put on the steerer spacers and screwed down to tightened the headset. The whole thing took less than 15 minutes from start to completion.

It works like it should, no problems. And it looks as good as anything I saw on brand new Giant and Specialized bikes, so I've got no complaints. I think that it could be made just a little bit more shallow because I misjudged it's depth and had to add a spacer.

Worked as intended. I was a bit thrown when it didn’t fit right out of the box, but I think this is normal to insure tight snug fit. I used adjustable pliers and bent the first star so that I could use a old socket and hammer to hammer it in. Quality aluminum and threading. No issues with tightening it up. The bike shop probably would have charged 20-30$.
