I have another of this product, and it is exactly what I expect. My low rating for this order is because i received a unit that was missing parts. The retail package was packed in an Amazon box and was visibly damaged (one end of the box was torn off). Inside the destroyed retail packaging was the base and the bottom bracket for the guitar, but not the top bracket. If assembled as delivered, I would have a tripod base with a pipe sticking up from it that would simply not have worked at all.

Very nice stand, much netter than the one we have. Easy to assemble and I particularly like the retaining mechanism. The neck of the guitar is surrounded on all four sides so it is impossible for it to slide out. All sides are padded with a foam-type rubber. The release mechanism is held in place with quite a strong spring that seems very durable. One handed operation is possible but I prefer two-hands to be safe.I would recommend this guitar stand.

I was looking through my old orders on amazon and realized that I bought this stand on here in 2014. Its now 2022, and as I write this, I can see it across the room. After all these years, it still looks nearly brand new and functions perfectly.I don't have a lot of drawbacks to mention about this stand, but I will say that on a soft carpet, I don't feel like its super balanced when its not full with three instruments on it. Mine has never tipped over, as far as I can remember, but I'm definitely more careful about not bumping it when its missing a guitar. However, with all three guitars on it, it feels totally stable.I mainly have this stand because its better on space than the three+ in a row type of stands. I do have one of those too, and I think its a better stand overall (extremely stable, sturdy, collapsible, etc), but this one has worked perfectly in the room where I have it.After 7+ years, I can comfortably recommend this stand for anyone looking for a space saving multi instrument stand.

I just like the locking system on ON Stage guitar stands. No fuss - no muss. I mean there are sturdier, more expensive stands out there. But this one does the job and if the guitar does take a fall forward, the locking mechanism is much more likely to break the fall and protect the neck than other kinds of stands. Though I'm using this particular one at home, I wouldn't feel at all unsafe with it playing out professionally at the local coffee houses, pubs, or churches that I play at. And though this is a guitar stand, its adjustable enough that I've used it for my banjo, mandolin, and electric bass (at home that is). Now at a concert venue where I'm trusting somebody else to set me up, or in a situation with musician's strange to me? Well, I'll likely keep the guitar in my hands whenever possible, but if it has to be out of my hands, I'll pull out a bigger, heftier stand than this one to take with me. But for the money, I think you just can't beat these!

I’ve had many different style strands over the years, and I’ve been disappointed with just about all of them for many reasons, but the one failure that seems to plague most stands is that they allow the guitar to fall over or out of the stand itself.Fromm distance, this stand looks like a run of the mill generic stand, but there has been some careful thought to the design that is probably overlooked by most. The key to this design is the angle of the tubes, allowing the guitar’s weight to sit more secure than other stands. Also, the “U” support that holds the guitar is perfectly shaped to accommodate many different body shapes without issues with the output Jack in the way, while wide enough to very securely hold most guitars. Finally, the lock mechanism at the headstock is excellently designed to allow secure storage while onstage, at the same time, allows easy removal while requiring careful hand placement to remove place the guitar in or out of the stand, which ensures no accidental miscues.EXCELLENT EXCELLENT DESIGN !!!STURDY, SOLID, SECURE STAND - HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDANOTHER TOP RATED PRODUCT FROM ON STAGE!!!

This triple guitar stand lasted all of three or four hours before one of the release arms on the neck holder broke. They are loosely attached to the frame, held in place only by a small part of a spring. It wiggles too far and too easily, and sure enough the spring popped right off. I could pull it back into place, but it pops right off again. I spent a little more for this stand thinking the extra money would result in a little better quality. Nope. Not even sturdy enough for home use -- I couldn't imagine trusting this thing on stage. Pass on this if you're considering.

This double guitar stand feels very sturdy. I trust my Gibson SG on it for what it's worth. I've had it for a few months now and it's holding up great. I have the Gibson on one side and a Takamine acoustic on the other side. It works great. It was super simple and quick to put together. If I was nitpicking, I would say the only possible bad about it is that if you're not careful you can bang the heads of the 2 guitars when you're taking one out or putting it back. But I hit heads once and realized how close they were, and I've never done it again. It's a non issue for me and I wouldn't take a star for it. Definitely a 5 star product. If I buy 2 more guitars, I'll buy another one of this same stand again without hesitation.

The only gripe I have is that, for the sake of guitars not falling out of the stand, it's a bit more difficult to quickly pick up a guitar on stage. There's just a little lever behind the neck that you have to push down to release the guitar, and that can be a bit slow. The other note is that, with 3 acoustic guitars, the instrument bodies will bump into each other unless you have surgeon's skills at moving them.Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this product.
