Introduction： Paper Stumps are used for smoothing and blending large areas of pastel or charcoal. They are tightly rolled pieces of paper that can be sharpened and re-used over and over again, making them longer lasting than the tortillions. They are double ended and are great for blending graphite work to achieve soft tones.
Tortillions are slightly different. These are pointed at one end and flat the other. They are more suitable for fine detail work and lifting off colour to create high lights.
Function: For thin areas, draw the texture and pattern in the places with finished lines, and you can also add a dim or soft effect to your drawings. Can also be stained with color to draw shadow in the appropriate place.
There are various sizes of Paper Stumps and Tortillions available. Very suitable for students, artists, drawing beginners to sketch or paint details.

I love these!! As a beginning drawer, these are a great tool to have on hand for fixing mistakes as well as blending and texturizing. They have stood up well and haven’t broken down hardly at all despite hours of use. Would definitely purchase again.

Came with a Faber Castell kneaded eraser, and a pack of four of that costs 6 dollars on its own. Tortillons work well and sandpaper works well too. For 7 bucks a pretty good deal

I have four kids who are artists and use different kinds of mediums. My two youngest saw this type of blender at a local art supply store and wanted me to purchase it for them. This pack of different sizes was a better buy on Amazon, so we went with this pack of blenders. They really like the quality and have used them already. Great buy!
