As others have pointed out, there is a reflective opaque surface on the long side that limits its use.

i bought this product because i wanted to try and see the effect of right angle prism, it suppose to mirror through the big face just because of optic effects, and it shouldnt have metal covering on it to do that.the picture suppose to be upside down, but it isn't. i checked with laser pointer and it is acted just like regular mirror...very disappointedattached the proof that it is covered in metal, and its a regular mirror. if it was just glass, the laser pointer should have been come out from a different point in the face.

If you want to redirect a light beam like in a camera, they're pretty good. The downside is that they're silver plated on the long side, so you cannot get rainbow colors (beware!). The quality is good.

These are high quality. It was not clear to me, however, that they are silvered on the diagonal face.
