First let me clarify what this is and what it isn't. This is an IR light, which helps with autofocus. I flip this on in low light, and my camera rarely hunts for autofocus. It's also dim to the human eye if you need discretion.However, cameras have built in IR filters, so it is NOT a wash light. If you want a red tint, you need to either use lens filters or add a red gel in front of a light. If it's a studio, you need either a par38 light or a multi-function DJ wash light. IR photography is a separate type of photography.

Fantastic. I have tried many small IR lights for night video and these by far are the best and most versatile. Option for one bar or two bars of IR lights, camera shoes on top and bottom, and ease of charging. Made nicely and doesn't feel cheap like others. Use them on a small hand-held unit for Paranormal Investigations and they work great.

It's just ok. Doesn't light up the rooms enough. I have a different one that works better. You could have 2 of these stacked on top of each other for better ir if you want to pay for 2 of them.

After reading through hundreds of reviews and several different IR lights I chose this one and It worked better than I thought lasted throughout our whole investigation and really just lit up any space I used it in !

This does not work at all. It appears they just have red tiny LED lights in the front of this, not real IR lights. I tried this on a Canon XA40, Canon T5i, GoPro Hero 5, GoPro Hero 3, iPhone SE, and Samsung phones. I turned this light up to full power and still, none of my cameras or phones could see anything more than a half inch in front of the camera with this light at full power. And even then, everything is red, not black and white like an actual IR light would produce. So, it appears the manufacturer just used literally a red LED light, not IR lights. This is a clear scam product made to look like a great value until you get it and realize it is NOT at all what was advertised.

赤外線で夜間撮影の補助になるかと思い購入した。照射距離は30㎝ほど。釣り動画用に使ってみたが、カメラ前の手元がボンヤリと映る程度。それもクッキリとは映らず、自分で撮影してたから「これリールを巻いてる自分の手だ」とわかるレベル。ハッキリ言って、実用的な性能は一切なく、暗所撮影用として全く使えたものではない。また、シューがガバガバで、気を抜くと外れる。アクションカメラで使うには致命的だ。購入しない方が良いかと思います。

Small and lightweight is perfect for playing with the Oculus Quest in a dark room. The half power mode is more than enough to lit an ordinary size room

I use it with my Oculus Quest 2 VR for hand tracking with lights out. Also works very well for night vision using the headset and IR light. I was able to walk around and do tasks with ease in the house in the total dark.For those saying they can only see when very close up it's more than likely they are using a low light camera and not an IR light capable camera. Most digital cameras can pickup some IR but very little. It is actually filtered out deliberately. Most smart phones can pick it up if shined straight at the camera. IPhones do not they usually totally filter out IR light. An IR Camera in IR or night vision mode will be pretty much a black and white or gray scale image. I never seen one in color.This IR light is bright enough if you look straight at it in the dark without a camera you can see the slight glow of red. If you see that the light is working as it should. If your camera is seeing color and little or no light then it doesn't have real night vision.I hope this helps some.The price is a little high for what it is but it's the lowest I have seen and it seems to work good for now. I would recommend giving it a try. I'm going to use a gopro mount to stick it to my Oculus VR headset.

xr-500vで使用。本体内蔵のナイトショットライトの明るさが足りなかったので購入。ほかのレビューで暗いという意見が多かったので心配でしたがなかなか明るくてかなり満足してますが遠くを映すのは難しいかもしれない

This was an addition for an oculus v r. Works well indoors and outdoors. You clearly get night vision but it does heat up stays very warm.
