The first time I heard of coffee enemas, I was 13; my mother (in hushed tones) told me about the crazy German lady up the street who performed colonics professionally. Her kids were vegetarians. I think my mother was sharing this information to make me appreciate her- at least I wasn’t munching celery sticks in between enemas.Fast forward forty years, and I’m talking to a lovely woman and her teenage daughter. This vibrant woman tells me about her cancer diagnosis almost two years earlier- in fact, it was advanced, spreading to her bones. What? In your bones? You look so healthy, I countered. She loved that I saw her as healthy- she beamed at me as she explained that she would have to continue the conversation later- that it was time for her “coffee break” (a euphemism for the daily enemas that are part of the Gerson therapy protocol- the protocol that allowed this beautiful woman to literally rise from her deathbed and continue taking care of her children). I was stunned. That conversation was three years ago and she continues to enjoy good health. She credits the Gerson therapy for saving her life.Naturally, I was intrigued. I felt compelled to investigate- after all, how many friends and family members might be saved by this therapy? After investigating and learning that coffee enemas are a time-tested way to restore health to people suffering many illnesses, I decided to make sure we were prepared. I collected books, a masticating juicer, a box of disposable enema bags (a large box in preparation for any upcoming apocalypse) and this organic enema coffee.I would never have thought that one day I would be publicly talking about coffee enemas, but after meeting someone who survived a death sentence, I believe it’s a very noble topic.Regular organic coffee and organic enema coffee are two different things. This product is excellent. Five stars.

I have used the coffee two days for a total of five enemas since purchasing it recently. It did not disappoint. Actually, I don't have to use the recommended amount for a quart. I use three tablespoons for as little 64 ounces to 84 ounces and it still works very well. In comparison to the other coffees, one an enema coffee and the other an organic light roasted, they can't compare.I was shocked at how well it worked. I had begun to start holding my enemas using peppermint oil or coffee for long periods, and a few times little or nothing would come out. Most times, the first enema would only expel a little. I would then have to do two or three more to rid myself of all the waste. The first time has worked every time so far, with no long holding time, which is good. I am not trying to do a liver detox (if I do that in the process, that is fine), I am trying to purge waste and pathogens from the body.I don't how Mr. Wilson came up with this particular coffee formula, I can only surmise that he went into the lab and did the research. He hit the nail on the head! IT'S THE BOMB!The price is almost double on Amazon versus the S.A. Wilson website, which was pointed out by other previous reviewers, and I found out later this to be true. However, I got free shipping. Therefore, I only paid about $1.29 more on Amazon. However you choose to get it, whether on Amazon or the S.A. Wilson website, just get it. It is well worth the money.

I first learned about coffee enemas through the Gerson Therapy Videos "Dying to Have Known" "The Gerson Miracle", "A Beautiful Truth" and "Healing Cancer from the Inside Out". I buy my coffee from either the Gerson Institute, or Dr. Bob Marshals Quantum Nutritional Labs. But after reading a report doing the most extensive report into coffee enemas called, "The Powerful Health Benefits of Coffee Enema Therapy that Big Pharma Does Not Want you to Know" the recommendation was to use S. A. Wilson's brand of enema coffee.Organic coffee isn't enema coffee. You need organic coffee that is not roasted, but slow dried, which ruins its healthy factors. Coffee contains ingredients that stimulate the functioning of the liver when introduced into the body through the colon. These effects are not produced by drinking coffee. Drinking coffee impairs liver activity. Some people have an adverse reaction to the coffee if it contains mold. Many sources of coffee are not screened for mold content. If you are concerned, then seek organic enema coffee that has been tested to be mold free. Yes, there are coffees that are intended for enemas and not for drinking.Coffee contains caffeine and salts of palmitic acids (kahweol and cafestol palmitate), which are absorbed by the hepatic portal system located in the last section of the colon. The portal veins carry the caffeine and palmitic acids directly to the liver without digestion. In the liver, kahweol and cafestol act as potent enhancers of glutathione S-transferase which is an important enzyme in the liver. It is part of a major detoxification system that catalyzes the binding of many toxins from the blood stream to the sulfhydryl group of glutathione so that the toxins can be released into the small intestine and excreted from the body. The caffeine dilates bile ducts and aids the emptying of toxic material from the gallbladder. Finally, the water in the enema stimulates activity of the intestines, which systematically moves the toxic substances released by the liver and gallbladder through the intestines so that they can be released out of the body through the rectum.S. A. Wilson's coffee is up to 44% higher in levels of Caffeine and in the more important Palmitic acid levels, we were able to produce levels up to 87% higher. All produced naturally without the use of any chemical additives.I also recommend getting either a water distiller which is expensive in both purchase cost and energy cost, or get a Big Berkey water filter. Do not buy water in plastic bottles even if it says BPA free.
