Arrived undamaged and quickly. Was looking at product out of box and was immediately concerned on getting the spacing correct for drilling the screws. I was like "Man, this really needs a template." and then "Ta-da !!" One was included with the hardware. Worked great...good material...easy to follow instructions...nice modern look, very satisfied.

One of mounting part was too small to even put the glass in. One side fit correctly while the other side did not work at all. It is not because of the security screw on the bottom, it was cast smaller than the other one. The metal arm also came bent. The glass was very nice, but only if it actually fit in the structure.

This shelf is simply beautiful in our bathroom, as well as totally functional. The length and depth is perfect. The chrome rail allows us to store more items than we initially planned. We love it! We bought two!! Also, one rail arrived defective; the chroming was incomplete. We applied to return it through Amazon and they graciously refunded us WITHOUT it being necessary to return the product! Although we will not use it in our bathroom, we will donate the item to ReStore, a Habit for Humanity organization. A win-win all around!!

Pain to install. I'm glad i re-read reviews that said don't use the template. I'm handy but not a pro so it took me a lot of time to figure out how to install this. Put the top anchor in first, but just one, and don't screw the screw all the way. Screw the little brackets to the back of the big bracket with the small screws. Then hook the rack over the anchored screw but don't screw in the bottom anchor yet. Mark the hole on the other end of the rack using a small level. Use this as your guide to mark the top anchor and put the top anchor in. Screw the top screw into the anchor. Hook the rack onto both top screws and then screw bottom screws in. I wrote this review in case I have to do this again but seriously not sure if I want to bother. The glass is sturdy but it sits tilted because the top screw is not screwed all the way. I would use a washer for the bottom screw to make it more flush against the wall. Looks great though and exactly what I needed. I'm glad I bought it but like most good deals on Amazon, it's got its flaws.

i absolutely love this shelf! for $16 - this was an amazing deal. the shelf looks phenomenal! better than expected. however, the directions were a total joke. the template it came with was off by about a quarter of an inch. do not buy this shelf unless you are handy and capable with DIY home stuff...or know a handy man. in my case i had a friend that came over and installed this shelf in 15 minutes flat. i was completely lost as to how to install it. it's a great shelf! super sturdy. it is high quality. it's just the directions are a total joke. this isn't something the average person can buy and install themselves. maybe you can! maybe you can't. i'm very handy and capable and there was no way i could figure out how to install this thing. however, now that it is installed....it's amazing! i'm so glad i bought it. we got it up on the wall with the included hardware. we didn't need to go buy anything else.

This is a fine looking shelf in my bathroom. Very well made. Easy to put up. I did not use the paper pattern for hole placement. Put one screw in, leveled the shelf and marked the second spot for a screw. Then hung the shelf. Marked the other spots for screws and removed shelf. Put in the Sheetrock grommets and re hung shelf. Screwed in the remaining screws and done. Very easy to hang b

Where do I even begin on these shelves...as I never write reviews and often disregard those who whine about poorly designed products and struggle w/install since most tv watching fix-it commandos are lucky to know which end of the hammer to swing! Well I have to tell you...they were right about this product for once!...especially the lady who said her husband was a solid diy'er who struggled to install this and another person who actually practically broke their toe over it? Luckily I fared substantially better than the second guy anyhow! Also some of the info posted by prior customers was often incorrect...things like the type of material of the metal wrap around bar...since I bought the CHROME version know that it is not solid chrome nor aluminum...it's chrome plated steel. This is why many struggle w/it being hard to install using the template...upside is it's very sturdy/heavy duty for a decorative type shelf = added bonus. But 1st thing make sure u bend it straight and level before you do anything (if needed...I ordered qty.2 and both mine were pretty good outta the box). Since I do this type of work as a profession the rudimentary instructions are not really needed/important, nor did I even bother to use the paper template for spacing, only bracket hole alignment...this basic glass shelf is pretty self-explanatory/not rocket science. Problem is however, the design of the top mounting bracket/hole does in fact suck (as complained by many previous owners)...no other way to sugar-coat it! But hey what do you expect for $22.61 anyhow? Therefore, we'll address that in a minute. Another huge design flaw is the bracket spacing is in fact 19" apart. So, don't expect to mount this to 2 separate studs independently [unless your framers didn't hang your walls w/standard 16" spacing, they line up exactly where your shelf will be placed making you extremely lucky!]. Once again a person on here wrote the brackets were width adjustable = wrong answer! Measure your wall studs before buying and line up your shelf accordingly [one edge to hit...make sure you either mount one side of this shelf directly into studs w/2-1/4" screws minimum or use butterfly wall anchors and do the same bracket drill-thru modification like I did (see bracket pic). Don't expect to use butterfly anchors without front drilling the bracket all way through because there is nothing for them to use as counter-pressure underneath the bracket top hole using current product as designed. SO HERE'S THE FIX: DRILL A HOLE DIRECTLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BRACKET AND USE A BUTTERFLY ANCHOR FOR THE TOP HOLE AND USE THE SUPPLIED DRYWALL ANCHORS ARE OK TO USE ON BOTTOM MOUNTING HOLES. [SEE PIC]. I bought qty.2 of these shelves and mounted them stacked on top of each other. I went left side straight into studs using my own 2-1/4 bottom and 3in top holes using construction screws. Right side the top holes I mounted w/50lb+ butterfly wall anchors and bottom holes the supplied drywall anchors. Make no mistake I only install things once for life and want to feel like I can do pull-ups off these practically now! So regarding a rating system on these shelves...I give them a 1 star as is using supplied drywall anchors as designed...but with my modification I now give it 4 star rating [-1 star] because I had to write this scathing review [SO I SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE AT 3 STARS] ...and the time I spent customizing these things that are now bomb-proof! Let's face it...you're never gonna see the screws I drilled through the front plates and should be sold/re-designed as such...thus turning a borderline worthless to me lightweight design I wouldn't trust...into a sturdy storage shelf my wife can put a whole row of those 10lb TJX shampoo bottles that last 3mos on! Bottom-line if you buy and install this product as is...don't expect more than a 8-10lbs max weight rating. If you're ok w/a drill and lining things up o.c. then have fun reinforcing them and enjoy some nice quality glass shelves for low money. I now have no problem loading these up to 30lbs [see proof/pic for yourself]...AGAIN ONLY IF YOU MODIFY THEM AS I DID...NOT AS SUPPLIED.

Looks fantastic up on the wall - small sink space for my sons growing line of products were easily held on this shelf. I like that the bar holds the products from falling off the glass shelf. Installation was pretty straight forward and took about 7 minutes - you'll need to have a drill and then just a phillips screwdriver. Solid, well built shelf.
