Not sure if it's lighter than the rim tape that came with my fat bike, but it bulges through the holes a bit more than the original.

I have used these on both 100mm rims, which they are designed for, and 80mm rims where they just fit edge to edge. If anything, I think they work better on the 80's as they can't shift around... nowhere for them to go.Top Tip: Take a 4 qt pot, fill it with water and bring it to a boil. Toss the rim strip in for a couple minutes. Bring the rim into the kitchen next to the stove. Take the strip out without burning yourself (I use a fork) and put it straight onto the rim. the hot strip will stretch MUCH more easily over the rim. It will be cool enough to touch almost the instant it gets out of the pot so have at it. By the time it cools you should have it on the rim no problem.

Nice and wide for my fatbike wheels - no complaints. Installed easy - no tears after a few months on the wheel.

I used the 75mm size on a 100mm electric bike wheel. Works great and was the perfect size. The quality of these rim strips is beyond what I expected. I don't work in a bike shop and don't buy tons of bike parts, so compared to the rubber rim strips I'm used to seeing these things are amazing. Feels like a tough rubbery canvas, really thick. I know my tube is safe with this thing on that rim!

Works great on my Sondor's e-bike. However, I needed to heat these up by soaking in boiling water in order to stretch them over the 26" fat tire rim. Once on, works like a champ.

It is a pretty simple product, so it is difficult for it to not be OK. The only potential thing is that the idiot who ordered this (me), failed to realize these are not sold in sets. You need to order two.
