So I've had these since November of last year I wanted to use them for a while before making a review I absolutely love them, very well made, secure fit over the bar and great wrist support as well definitely a must buy to add to your gym arsenal

Make sure you know what kind of pedals they fit. Worked great for me.

They are durable, easy to install but I found them really hard to use, especially if I was wearing different shoes on different days. Never could quite get the fit right. I took them off after about a week.

I have a nice little hybrid bike. I wanted to have toe clips without having to purchase shoes and other specialty items... These straps totally rock! They install easily. They are tough as hell. They do everything you want from a toe clip and I can use my running shoes. Better than expected. Perfect for the hobbyist mountain biker or urban biker... I even do amateur sprint triathlons where I can bike and run in the same shoes and cut down transition times. These straps have a good ROI.

I love riding my bike with toe clips. My new Specialized Sirius X 2 bike does not have holes in the pedals for traditional toe clips so I was lucky to find these Origin8 Pro-Grip II Pedal Straps. They are easy to install and remove. Very sturdy and the velco works very well. They tend to bend and flatten out since they are not metallic but you learn how to make them work. I really like them and they are actually MORE comfortable than my traditionally toes clips since your toes are NOT pressing against metal. Going to ride my bike again today and am I am glad I bought this product

Quality product, thick straps, easy to install, and they look good. The construction is solid, thick, the velcro is strong, and all around well built. Personally, I don't understand why a few others have complained, these straps do the intended job-prevent my feet from slipping. The straps are breaking in nicely too, and they're slowly contouring to my feet with each ride. I also do not experience any problems getting my feet in or out the straps. A few other reviewers complained about that, and I say it's simply a lack of coordination.Again, these pedal straps are solid and they work great for me.

UPDATE: Just over a year, and they're still great! I've upgraded pedals, to remedy the wear I was experiencing in my initial review.Lovin' em so far. I've had the for a few months. They are starting to wear fast, but that's my fault for not having pedals where I can feed them through the side. Mine have to go under the bottom outer edge of my WellGo pedals, and they hit the ground on sharp turns before my pedal does.Looking into getting new pedals that will accommodate these better.Overall though, well built, ballistic woven nylon is holding up great. Strong velcro straps stay where you put them, and don't require constant adjustment after you have them set.Great straps for a fixie like mine, or a single speed, allowing up and downstroke pedaling. Also aid in quick rear tire skid stops when on a fixie.Highly recommended for these type of bikes.

I'm a cross country mountain biker in my schools Sophomore division one (B team). I cannot afford cycling shoes, cleats, and pedals. I opted for this cost efficient alternative.I got them today. They were true to color (white) and looked and felt like a high quality product. It was a straightforward installation. They fit on my Blacklabel pedals like a glove.I used them during our trainer spin class today. I experienced great retention and grip, no loose feeling (despite my small shoe size of US 6). Coming from toe straps, I think it there is no significant difference in power transfer. The simplicity of strapping in Velcro is more efficient and more adjustable than standard toe straps. The only con about white is how easily it can stain. However, some Shout or carpet stain remover with a damp rag can help remove those stains.I recommend this product highly if you're looking for power transfer, looks, and affordability as an addition to your cycling enthusiasm. I cannot guarantee the longevity yet, however I will update soon. I'll buy them when I get my track bike an road bike up and running. For now it will be a true test in the mountains with my first pair.Happy riding and be safe :).Update:Last week I went through a muddy ride with them after some CA showers. They got dirty, but they still held up. I use these for when I have to commute, do trainer workouts, road trips, and XC training. I received some shoes, cleats, and pedals as a little gift from my father, however these will still remain on my trainer bike. They've seen a good amount of use, and hopefully they will last a good amount of time. For cleaning, I just stick them in the laundry load with Shout or Tide when they're dirty, and hang dry them in a indoors, cool, dry environment.

These are, admittedly, the first set of straps I've ever owned. I wanted to go for something affordable and with a name that I knew from the gear-heads at my co-op, so I chose these. This particular model is WHITE. Oooh boy are these straps bright, borderline reflective in terms of how white they are. That being said, they look fantastic on my Orbea Carpe H-50. They, so far, seem sturdy, even in the Minnesota weather, and after a little adjusting to get the strap-size correct I can kick-in with no problems. If you have small pedals, width-wise, I don't know if these are the best options, because they're fairly large. They work well on my VP Trekking pedals, which are quite broad.Installation is easy as pie, just pass the straps through the pedals and fasten around your foot.
