I used to be a Top 5,000 reviewer with Amazon, with two decades of feedback. Then, all of a sudden, they nuked all my reviews. No explanation. So I stopped reviewing.The only reason I’m leaving my thoughts on this one is because I know many of you are sitting where I was before this purchase. You’ve got a 2M Blue and are wondering if the 2M Black is worth the money.Long answer short: it is. It’s instantly better in every way. I can’t remember the last single component I upgraded that had as big an impact as swapping this cartridge.I’m running a Technics SL-1210GR. Balanced Audio Technology electronics. Nordost Heimdall/Frey cables. Dunlavy Audio Labs SC-III speakers. I picked the turntable because it was a solid, use-friendly choice, and I could easily experiment with cartridges. I’ll be sticking with this one for the foreseeable future.Hopefully this review lasts as long as the cartridge.

Yes, expensive, but the difference between this and say a red m2 is night and day. I am really happy with the purchase.
