Got two sets of these. First set I opened I went to fit and found the fixing screw hole size was too small.Check other box and they were OK.9 out of 10 of these in the box were incorrect screw size.All in the other box were correct size.Needs quality control to be better.Was not given the option of a replacement set being sent.I am in New Zealand so returning item etc is a pain.

Don’t expect sandvik quality at this price. However, they are decent inserts that last quite a while in aluminum. They run great in cold roll steel as well, but I wouldn’t press these for anything hardened. The coating seems thin and wears off quickly compared to more expensive inserts. I would highly recommend these for non critical parts or the home user.

The price is good but the carbide is on my the cheaper side, don’t try to take heavy cuts or interrupted cuts without chipping the carbide. If your spinning smooth material and only taking .050” cuts at a time you should be good.

Great for the price. Gave a decent finish on some 4140 rod I turned down for a drift trike axle.
