I bought these cotton diapers to use as cleaning & dusting clothes. These soft, thick, lint free cotton are perfect for this purpose. If you need something that IS NOT polyester for dusting give these cotton diapers a try.

Order 2 packages of the same diaper and they are completely different. One washed up nicely and 1 shriveled up. 5 years ago they were great this time not. Go back to what you used to use

I use these with diaper covers (usually flip) for my 1 month old. These are great for wrapping microfiber inserts, which shouldn't be placed against the baby's skin. They are some of the most used pieces of fluff in my stash. They are the perfect length and thickness (I bought smalls)to create a diaper with a microfiber that is reasonably absorbent but not too bulky. I'm giving them four stars because I wouldn't recommend them for pinning on a baby, as they are too short and thin for anything but a premie or small newborn. Not can I use them alone, they simply aren't absorbent enough. I also don't see these lasting more than 6-8 months of heavy use. Personally, I don't like pins/snappis, and I feel I will have gotten my money's worth so this is not an issue for me.

I used these for a very short time for cloth diapering my daughter. Unfortunately, she turned into a very heavy wetter before she outgrew them. However, 5 months later, I'm still using these as burp cloths. These cloths are extremely versatile. They were great for diapering her while she was tiny, and they've been washed a bazillion times as burp cloths, and they're still holding up.
Been doing this awhile...

Got the smallest size. Fits in the newborn diaper cover better than bigger sizes and are keeping our little one's outfits dry. Diapers ARE white, not gray. Diapers shrank to 60-70% of original size and are rippled. They work great as diapers, very absorbent. I don't think they'd be good for embroidered burp cloths, unless you WANT to iron your burp cloths after every wash?

Not worth it! Very cheap, thin, and small. I wouldn't recommend. I got some Indian diapers from a different source (not Amazon) and they were better.

I was really disappointed after reading the reviews to get these. They are so thin and will not work as burp rags like I wanted them to. I will return these and go buy some in store where so that I can see what I am getting.

This really is the best way to go in terms of price. They worked wonderfully for my newborn. (Just a note: cloth diapers normally get soaked. Both CDs and disposables should be changed, on average, every two hours to avoid rashes, even if the disposable feels moderately dry. I use a doubler at night, though.)However, once my baby got to be 8 pounds (the average size of babies at birth), the diapers didn't fit well around him, and at ten pounds, they barely reach around his legs. These will still work as liners for diaper covers, as doublers, and burp cloths, but I won't be able to pin them any more.Bottom line: for newborns, get two dozen. You will wash every 1.5 to 2 days. Don't forget diaper covers. For infants 9 lbs and up, don't expect to be able to pin these or use Snappi fasteners with them for long. Fold in thirds and lay into the diaper cover, or use as a double layer, or use as a burp cloth.
