I bought this to replace an old Oster model which was "running out of gas" and struggled with some wine corks. I knew my old Oster needed a new battery pack so I elected to order this newer model. My first impressions are that it is an attractive and compact design which wouldn't take much counter space and it eagerly removed my wine corks. What else could I ask for?

Can not really give the battery life a five yet as we just got it. The unit will always be plugged in to the wall adapter. I'm giving it a 5 based on one bottled opened.

I only used the wine opener a hand full of times since I bought it. The wine opener seems to still work but the base no longer chargers. And yes, I’ve tried switching thecharger adapters…it’s the base that’s faulty.

Great product but the only thing is that when it's charging.....there is no light to indicate if it's done charging or if it's still low on battery, etc....other than that...product works great!

So powerful! Took the cork right off the wine bottle in seconds. I love it! Nice looking to have on counter, too! Comes with it’s ac adapter to keep plugged in at all times.

La usé incorrectamente un tiempo y creí que no funcionaba, Error! Solo es dejar el botón presionado hasta que sientes como se bota el corcho, Es muy fácil de usar. Lo tengo siempre en su base y no tenido problemas con la pila, ni nada por el estilo. Lo mega recomiendo!

Aparato para sacar corchos bien fabricado, no muy grande para ser eléctrico, de uso sencillo e intuitivo, no se para cuantos corchos dure una carga pero hasta ahora funciona muy bien.

This thing is my trusty wine opener I've had for years. I recently bought them this Christmas as gifts for people too that I knew we're still using a manual cork screw. Makes popping corks much much easier! For the money its a no brainer to buy one of these.This thing works great as long as you leave it plugged in all the time. It seems to use a lot of energy pulling the cork, so it doesn't respond well to not being plugged in all the time. It has a small cutter with it too to remove the foil that is held in the stand behind the opener. Make sure you place it correctly on the charger and see the red charging light, occasionally I've not placed it correctly and come to find a dead wine opener. You'll only make that mistake once!

There is truly nothing better than an electric wine opener. This takes all the elbow grease and guess work out of opening a bottle. In fact, it's SO easy it feels like the cork never leaves the bottle. My only complaint is the life of the battery. I purchased this as a gift, but I have had the same model for a few years and it doesn't seem to be holding a charge very long anymore so I've deducted a star for that.
