This is an excellent slide hammer for applications where larger ones just won't fit, like sensors and fuel injectors. This hammer is very easy to use as the larger adapter seems to be compatible with almost all slide hammer attachments I have tried with it.This hammer also seems to have slightly more power given that the 'hammer' has a bit more mass than other compact slide hammers and this gives it an edge in the power category. It is a great tool for the money, is very well constructed, and has in short order (at least for me) paid for itself a few times over. I do wish they would offer a kit with some other useful attachments with (or for) this hammer, but overall I am very happy with the purchase.

I bought this specifically to remove the turbo downpipe clamp next to the firewall on my 03 F350 7.3L powerstroke. Works perfectly and quickly without frustration and the anger induced tool toss across the shop that results from trying to use a prybar.

Just three simple pieces, nothing fancy. The threads on the main shaft were damaged with the hardening wiped off them. Looks like it fell out of the box before selling. Used my tap and die to straighten the threads, it works now.

The day I got this I needed it! Lol. I have tens of thousands of dollars worth of tools, but this worked best for getting out a broken wheel speed sensor of a Transit Van. Saved us a ton of time from taking apart the whole front wheel assembly as we just hooked it into the broken sensor and tapped it out with this little guy!Also works great for diesel injectors that are stuck in the bore a little snug.

Works but can be a pain when attaching it to other otc tools for example OTC 4421 Pilot Bearing Pulling Attachment (it doesn't actually attach because the thread adapter is not long enough)

Slide hammer itself is very good. I just wish there were more adapters available for it. That way it could be a good all-around cheaper alternative to those other sets which sometimes come with much more adapters than you need (making them more expensive).
