An older neighbor of mine walks in the rain. I decided to order this for him because if he doesn't listen to advice about being at risk for a bad cold, he needed a raincoat that can provide the needed coverage from head to toe. It fit him well with some room to spare. He was hesitant in accepting this coat but saw that I was concerned for him and decided to take it. We had some rain showers yesterday and I saw him wearing it and was happy that I gave his this coat for his protection.

Not Breathable & Not For Humid Florida Summers, but appears to be a solid and well-made construction/military-type trench-coat. The PVC coating makes this jacket heavy & hot in humid weather, but it's a fully waterproof...and comfortable, sharp-looking...true-to-size trench-coat (2X is a perfect fit at 6'3" 250ibs.) are its strong-points. This is my opinion as someone who has worked outside everyday in the Florida weather for the last 35 years. If you're looking for a packable, quality raincoat that will last more than a week at work...then this is what you're looking for. It's give and take on this jacket, but If you're looking for something that will breathe and bearable in a humid environment - this isn't it.

I work outside in all kinds of weather and am always looking for the best gear to keep me dry and comfortable on the job. Normally I wear a regular rain coat with separate rain pants but sometimes it's nice not to have to hassle with putting the rain pants on/off during intermittent rain so that's why I decided to order this hooded rain coat. The coat appears to be very well made compared to others I have worn over the years and I especially like the double elastic cuffs. When you are constantly moving like I do during work, there's nothing more annoying than having your sleeves roll up on you and having to constantly pull them back down. That won't be a problem with this raincoat. The 2 outer pockets are very deep but there are no inner pockets. The hood is detachable and while the description says the coat is "breathable", it's still made of PVC so it's not going to be the coolest coat in your wardrobe. The size chart on this is confusing. I am 5'10", 180 lbs. 42" chest and normally wear a large in tops but went with a medium and have to say it is VERY long - almost to my ankles! Keep that in mind when ordering. The small may have actually been the size for me to go with but if you plan on wearing something underneath like a layered jacket, etc. you don't want the raincoat to be too tight.

I got this mens long rain jacket for my husband. He says it fits great. It's very well made. Great quality. It's definitely waterproof, he wears it in the rain all the time. It's lightweight. And I like the reflectors to keep you safe at night while he walks the dog in the rain. I definitely recommend buying.

I live near a lake and like to go hiking and fishing, even if it's raining. My regular rain jacket doesn't cover my rear end so I can't sit down if it's wet outside. This is the perfect option. It's nice and big and long, so it covers me all the way beyond my knees. That makes it helpful when hiking in wet weather. I can sit down without having to carry any other items or blankets with me, which is nice. The jacket is lightweight, so it doesn't add a lot of weight to me when walking. It's definitely a couple steps up from a thin little poncho. I'm a woman and got the men's small and it fits good, a slight bit big but that's exactly what I hoped for.

I got this raincoat for my daily commute, and it’s been fantastic. I often have to walk through the city in unpredictable weather, and this coat has kept me dry without fail. The hood is well-designed, providing good coverage without obstructing my view, and the long length ensures that even my legs stay dry.
