My wife wanted a fountain but didn't want to spend a lot of money. We chose to go with filling it by hand, and using an exension cord to power the fountain. I wanted to hide the cord under our deck to keep it out of the sun, and away from rodents. This cord met all my needs, and I am extremely pleased with it. I would buy it again, and would recommend it to friends and family.

Compared to other 100’ extension cords we couldn’t be more pleased. The coating seems thick, the plug doesn’t seem to be fragile in any way and the length is perfect. It’s light enough to carry without any problems, the color makes it blend in instead of stand out like the orange ones, the connection quality is great and it functions as expected. I am not sure about heat resistance, we recently purchased. If any issues offer I’ll be sure to come back to update. Overall I think it was a great buy! Perfect length for what we needed it for and it was a great price!

It’s a sturdy, long, industrial type extension cord. It’s for my newlyweds. They need everything and repairs on their house is a drain on the budget. This extension cord was a gift and they seemed delighted

Hi residential users. This cord is a very good price. It is safety orange so you will see it clearly and probably not accidentally cut it. Also, it is 14 gauge which is medium duty good for most lawn tools and power tools. Actually, 14 and 12 gauge are what most people should use around their homes. These gauges will carry the load of most powered items. Also, you need to consider the length of the run of the cord you are going to use. Electrical power drops off somewhat as you increase the length of your cord. This cord is also fairly flexible and can be coiled up on cord reel. If you buy a reel make SURE the reel will hold the LENGTH AND GAUGE of the wire you are going to wind on it. If you don't you may not be able to get all of the cord on the one reel. The insulating plastic on the wire is good. Just check it now and then for nicks, cuts and tears. It is fairly heavy and should last a long time. NEVER use an extension cord with nicks, cuts or tears in the insulating plastic covering. You can actually seriously injure or kill yourself in so doing. If you ever see a problem with the insulation be sure to repair the damage or get rid of the extension cord. If either end becomes damaged Home Depot sells great replacement male and female end fittings for these three wire cords. They are cheap and easy to install.Well, that is about it. Enjoy you new cord. It will serve you well.
