The table ships fully assembled and can easily go from a setup dining table to a single drop leaf to completely folded down. The table has an umbrella hole as well as an umbrella clamp that acts as a built-in umbrella base.Care & Maintenance :For cleaning, use a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cleaning products. To maintain the stained finish on your Outdoor Interiors Brazilian Eucalyptus furniture, we recommend teak, refined or boiled linseed oil to be used at least 2 times in the spring/summer sunny seasons. The number of applications vary depending on direct sunlight, temperature and dry climate versus more humid regions. The look of your furniture will provide tell-tale signs along the way, so “Please Oil” accordingly.Many items can be oiled in actual work time under 15-20 minutes with light cleaning first. Do not apply any oil in direct sunlight. Apply oil generously and wipe away excess oil with a dry cloth approximately 1-2 hours after application and potentially the next day as well.Always cover or store away your furniture during harsh weather and the winter season.CAUTION: Oil soaked rags should be disposed of carefully.

Like that you can drop a side as it’s normal just my wife and I but we can lift it up when we have company. We did give it a good coat of walnut oil and that should help with moisture and the wood drying out.

Ordered this table and it arrived yesterday. The box had a puncture but the table was not damaged. I am very pleased with the quality, stability and appearance of the table. To me this looks like a much more expensive table, not flimsy or cheap looking at all. The folding process is handy to use and is the reason I preferred this table. The table is 30” from the floor to the table top, which is a bit higher that some other tables. Also, the table smells of the oil used in the finish. OK for outside but a bit much if you were planning on using it indoors.

Beautiful set... I purchased chairs as well. I liked that they could fold up to store out of season. I oiled as instructed and this did not hold up through the first summer. Wood is discolored, warped and easily cracks if you lean on the table. I live near Kansas City with mild weather.Years ago I purchased a wood set from Walmart. It lasted for over 10 yrs without maintenance. That set sat outside year round in Florida where it rains a lot. I still have the bench... that set was purchased 18 years ago.This set is way to expensive to last one summer. Do not recommend.

Bought this table to convert our foyer into a dining room when needed. I am very impressed. It’s well made, sturdy and very functional. The table folds up and stores in the foyer when not needed. Great dining option . Nice big round table. We put a felt lined table cloth on top when in use and it just fits right in. Great value and quality.

It came with a large crack across the top. I returned it. The second one seemed fine when I first looked at it; but when I was oiling it, I found a small crack in the edge and some other small cracks under neath, and a dent in the top. I've seen other reviews and I took a chance and now I wish I hadn't. It's pretty. It folds up small. It's light. With the bolts on, it's fairly stable. But it's an expensive table to show up broken,Twice!

Received the table in two days! I was a bit leery after reading the reviews about how many people had issues with cracks but decided to go ahead and VERY glad I did. Straight out of the box it was a breeze to unpack and set up. After thoroughly checking it I was glad to see there are no cracks or defects. It does need oiled right away but I knew that going in. Color is very nice shade of brown. It's sturdy, the folding legs lock in with the provided bolt and wrench, and the storage footprint is awesome! As it's a new purchase I can't speak to the longevity but very happy so far.

I chose a wooden table after looking at tables and their reviews. Too many shattered glass tops and too many scratched or rusted metal tops. I hate purchasing sight unseen, that being said I depend on reviews from other shoppers. When the table was unpacked and set up I had few surprises. We chose this one for the drop leaf feature due to our small deck. The color is a warm, rich brown. The finish is a little rough, but not splinter rough. It can use a light sanding if it bothers you. It calmest assembled. There are two bolts that are inserted to lock the legs in place and removed to drop a leaf down. There is one bolt to secure an optional umbrella at the base. That's it! Assembly complete! My biggest disappointment is the wobbliness of the table. It is not sturdy and tends to wobble as though it's not secure on its base. We're going to check that out. I bought teak oil today and until I get it rubbed down I have a cloth over it. It gets 4 stars because I live it, but it is not a 5 ! Too wobbly!
