Though I installed via the instructions, and after 2 additional wrapping the pole cannot be tight enough not to move around. The set screw by the pin that allows it to fold is weak. If tightened it cannot be folded. Not a good operation .

Both flags were shredded on the trailing ends after running 80 mph for about 2,000 miles.

put on one of my harleys backrest ,good quality brakets and flags had over a year and still look new even after long runs

The flags that came with the product were in good condition. I instructions for the flagpole mount are straight forward. They put silicone disks in the package, as well as some teflon tape, supposedly to keep the pole mount from moving on the rack. However, putting on the silicone disks did nothing, to include the silicone tape. It helps keep the mount on, but continues to move. Even though the mounts are tight on the rack, as soon as you get up to speed on the bike, the poles move. It doesn't keep the flags up the way they should and looks very disrespectful when the US Flag is sitting on its side. I do not recommend this product at this time.
