It is well made, true to size and love it!

I love taking my dogs for walks at a beautiful park we have nearby. We stroll about and then like to sit on the grass and people watch. At times, the grass isn't always 100% dry and I end up walking around with a damp butt for the rest of the walk. It's so gross!This "picnic" blanket has become less about pick-nicking than it has about being a solid layer of protection against soggy sod. It's easy to clean, it is *very* big, and it has been durable against dog claws. I haven't tried it at the beach, yet. But it seems that it would be easy to shake sand free before repacking.This really is a great size for a small group sharing a delicious meal out in nature. Or, for a gal and her dogs to hang out and relax, lol.

This is kind of a strange mixture of the fabric used for windshield covers (that silver insulated stuff that's still fabric-like), and an actual blanket. The blanket side is somewhat soft, but the silver side is kind of stiff, so it lays out nicely and it is a nice size for a picnic blanket. Overall, we like it, but I think it will take a little getting used to for us.

This blanket for sitting on the ground or beach is massive. It's so big, yet thin and easy to shake off, fold up, and roll up to carry back to the car. It comes with both a strap to wrap the ends up and carry as a roll, but also a bag to plop it into a toss in the back of the car. If you lose one, you've got the other! The design of the blanket is great. It's got an aluminum flashing on the bottom that feels waterproof, and a very cute, retro design on the top that kind of feels 70s ish. It's so spacious when on the ground, a whole family could sit on the blanket together with enough room for food or games. It feels like it's very good quality with strong stitching and good, thick fabric layers. I just love it and will use it for many years to come.

This was a nice surprise. It is a nice, large size, 60 x 80 inches according to the manufacturers. It seems that big & is absolutely perfect for a day at the park for a picnic or a day relaxing at the beach. The surface is made of a cotton or cotton blend cloth. The bottom is made of an aluminized, plasticized fabric that resists moisture. It has about 1/4" of fiber filling between the top & bottom layers. The entire blanket is edged in coordinating binding. It's quite comfortable & a nice, handy blanket to bring to any number of outings. It will not hold eight people. You might be able to get six people on it, but not comfortably, unless they're pretty small.It comes in a bag with a drawstring with an adjustable cord lock for transport & storage. It also has a strap that attaches to the blanket with buckles so you can sling it over your shoulder if you choose to. I washed & dried this before first use. It both washed & dried beautifully. It even sat in the dryer for a while after the cycle finished & it didn't wrinkle.There are a few things worth noting. First, the bag that comes with this blanket is not matching as shown in the pictures. It comes with a black, nylon bag equipped with a drawstring lock. Second, if you watch the video clip included in the advertisement, it shows a woman fastening what looks like a leather belt with grommets & buckle to secure the over-the-shoulder option of carrying this blanket. The strap is not leather & it doesn't fasten like a belt. It is a long piece braided webbing & it's supposed to be fastened with plastic clips. The plastic clips are cheap junk. After washing & drying my blanket, I rolled it up & went to fasten the webbed belt with the clips clips. The first one I tightened (with not much force) snapped in two & flew across the room. I didn't attempt to fasten the second clip, but just put the blanket in the bag.It fit easily & I was pleasantly surprised by that. I believe I folded the blanket into thirds and then rolled it up. It isn't so bulky so as to make it difficult to fit it into the bag. The bag has a handle on it that you can use to sling the bag over your shoulder, so the the webbing strap is kind of redundant & unnecessary.So there are a couple of misadvertised features that people should be aware of & that the manufacturer & seller should correct: the non-matching bag, the non-belt-like straps & the plastic clips that can't be fastened without breaking them. From my perspective, these are relatively minor. They should be corrected, but to me the most important things are the size & quality of the blanket & the bag for storage & transport. The blanket is very nice, washes & dries well & the bag, though it doesn't match the blanket as pictured, it is functional & plenty large to hold the blanket. To me those are the most important features & they are why I rate this product positively. I do think the price is steep. $37 is rather high. I believe you could buy a blanket of a similar size for much less than that. I'd recommend reducing the price by $9 - $10.

I love this blanket. It is so pretty and simple and works very well. I love the pattern and the color choice. The shining glory of this blanket, though is actually not the blanket. It is the carry strap! Before it goes into the drawstring bag (which is also awesome and wonderfully sized), it is held together with some straps. The way that it set up the straps never come unhooked from the cinch piece, and together it makes a nice little shoulder strap. It is so functional and useful. I’m just completely geeking out over it.I highly recommend!

I went to Hawaii with friends and brought this blanket along. I'm so glad I did! The blanket is big and we put our food items and bags on it and it kept all of our items dry and sand-free. It was nice to not have to worry about a bunch of sand in our food! It was easy to carry as it comes with a nice storage bag that you can carry on your shoulder. And it was simple enough to shake off the sand and roll up the blanket and it fits easily back into the storage bag. A great product for use at the beach and for picnics and other outdoor events.
