Warm Tips:

4. Avoid accelerants. Never use accelerants or combustible materials to start a large fire. This is dangerous, and can be damaging to your fire pit as well. Also, make sure you always let fires die down gradually, without pouring water to douse the fire.
5. Avoid plastic. Never use any plastic materials around a fire pit. These can melt from the heat. It is very difficult to remove the residue later, and the burning of this residue can cause emission of toxic fumes.

I have had several sizes. I am about to order another one. These fit well, and protect the firepit from filling with water and rust. I will have to order a new pit cover and a fire screen. You need the fire screen to prevent this from filing with weight of water. The fire screen keeps it from collapsing. Mine is several years old and time to freshen up,

Well, you might have guessed it, I sure wish the delightLife Fire Pit Round Cover would have been a dark brown, but, it now goes with my new propane tank cover. So far, it has worked just great as my fire pit cover. Even though we have several days of high winds going across the porch, no problems with the cover staying on even with the tie strings not being used (forgotten). With the rain misting, and the temperature falling, I decide to remove my new delightLife Round Fire Pit Cover, start my propane fireplace and enjoy a cold Gin & Tonic. Oh, almost forgot, I did purchase a second delightLife Round Fire Pit Cover, Black, for my son. IT'S A GREAT COVER Edward R Bodge

Overall, I’m happy with this purchase! The material seems to be of quality and so far (all summer) it’s help up against the rain. Wind is another story. It seems that pulling the drawstrings to cinch the bottom close to the ground right to the fire pit is almost impossible. It’s like the string doesn’t want to slide in the seam. So I’m not able to make it form fit to my fire pit which allows a lot of updraft during windy days.Thankfully, there are buckle straps that I can loop around the legs of my fire pit to keep it from blowing away and that has kept it mostly in place this far.To the seller: if there was a way to improve the drawstring functionality that would be a major bonus and would have brought my rating to 5 stars.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I received my firepit cover!. The price was reasonable, the cover fits great & has added features like a drawstring to tighten it around the firepit, straps with buckles to secure around a leg of the firepit so it doesn't blow off & a small bag to put it in when not in use.

I was looking for a new cover as my one from last year rotted out. This one was $13 and fits great! love that the drawstrings work with no issues and there are clips to attach to the legs of your fire pit stand so the cover doesn’t move!
